Let's use an even more boring question. Lets use "What do you do for work?"

If you're having a somewhat awkward conversation where it's like you're grasping at straws to get something going and you ask, "So......what do you do for work?" of course that will be boring as hell.

If instead you're in an engaging conversation and you're laughing about people and situations that come up at workplaces and she shares a funny experience she's had at work then you say, "Haha. No way, that's crazy. What do you do for work anyway??" then that'll just continue the fun.

Having good conversations is not about the specific questions you ask, it's about how you use the different questions, statements, and topics.

All the specific things you can talk about are simply tools, whether a conversation is boring or fun doesn't depend on the specific tool you use but on how you use it.

I would think that they do get bored. That's why you don't ask the same boring questions. When you approach a woman, you're doing so in a spirit of fun. Guys generally approach a woman and try to create a connection. That's boring. Be the fun guy who says something way out of left field.

Openers:

"Is your name, Angie?" Probably isn't. Tell her you recently read an article about doppelgangers, people who aren't related but look alike and their amazing similarities. Tell her she looks like your childhood friend and you want to see how similar she is to your friend.

Tell a woman you recently bought a book about cold reading and you want to practice the techniques on her. You can either be really bad or really good. Either way, it will be entertaining for her.

You're writing a story about women in bars/clubs. Ask her what are some of the worst pick up lines guys have used. Keep it light. Favorite drinks. Why do you come here? What was the best time you ever had in a bar or club?

These are just three examples. Try to come up with your own. You're having fun with an attractive woman for the night(or whenever you meet her). You don't have to know much about her or she know about you.

You're misunderstanding the process. Women don't respond to words they're paying attention to your mind (how you think - is he a leader?) and their emotions. They're not thinking what did he say yesterday but are remembering how you made them feel

Words are a subjective medium of communication, since the meaning of words themselves vary between each person. They're more a form of self expression - how you're communicating, than what you're communicating. Our body communicates more than our words so two men can say the same thing and express themselves differently. They're communicating with different energy, breath, intention etc. This is what is perceived sub consciously by us humans and women are more sensitive to it then men. Humans get bored from how you're doing what you're doing, not what you're doing

What world are you living in. I agree that social media or dating sites is like a fishing pool for girls but in public it's not at all. Some guys assume that girls are approached in public a lot but most of the times guys simply don't make any moves because they fear or they don't know what to do or what to say. Hot girls are being approached more often but in a pretty shitty way so it doesn't count that much

OP, women get bored of being asked boring questions by boring men.

What is boring to most women? Typical interview questions, likely followed by a bunch more pre-memorised interview questions.

Many in this thread are suggesting making assumptions / cold reads because they see it as some kind of power move. It works with some women, but others (more socially experienced perhaps?) often consider it arrogant or cocky.

If you are approaching with the intent of finding a relationship, you need to actually connect with a woman on an emotional level. That means asking questions about her that lead to discussions that actually feel good. Get her talking about her passions in life and she will actually enjoy the conversation, provided you listen attentively and pick up on her cues for potential threads for continuing the conversation.

You ask questions because you want to know the answer. You don't ask questions just because you think you should. And there are some very important questions which you can't just skip. Especially if you want to find a good long term partner. So you absolutely should ask questions and try to know as much as possible as soon as possible so that you can decide in good time if she's gonna be a good partner or not. It serves the purpose of filtering out potential partners as fast as possible. The problem with this community is they tell you that you should attract her first and then understand if she's a valid partner. If you do this you're gonna waste a lot of time for a girl which may not be even worth it. You can see how this mindset already puts you at her mercy: you try to validate yourself as a great partner by putting this facade of a competent, confident man which is witty,charming and not needy. It is quite exhausting as it's like a switch you turn on when you are around a girl you want to attract. While she doesn't have to prove anything, at least you are not making her to. Because if you chose to seduce that girl, evidently you are already attracted to her and her looks are enough for you to take her immediately. Of course if your goal are one night stands, then this doesn't matter

Maybe that was true 10 years ago, but with the rise of online dating and digitalization it’s pretty rare women in the west get approached in daytime settings like they did before instagram was taken over by the masses. It's how you ask. Make her qualify herself. What do you do for work and what do YOU do for work are totally different questions. You're showing an interest in her and her answer will determine future interest.

Listen to understand and respond. If her response is she works in mathematics I'll playfully answer eww, why would you do that to yourself? Isn't that boring? This starts a new string of wanting to qualify herself to you. If she presents a good argument I'll change my view and say something along the lines of I've never thought of it that way, that's really deep or that sounds super fulfilling. Now she's feeling good that she got a W and she gave you more ammo to ask deeper questions

It's a first date. You're expected to use some of the same questions as everyone else, but it's your job to create a memorable vibe in the way you ask the questions.

You’d be surprised how often women get approached and get asked zero questions at all. Most guys just like to talk about themselves, I guess out of nerves or trying to prove their value or something. But honestly, my best advice is not to fake anything. Just let the conversation flow naturally. If you’re compatible, you’ll feel comfortable asking questions and she will too. If you put on some kinda personality (or if she did) it’s not like it’s something you can keep up forever. I know the “be yourself” line is sooo overdone but it’s too damn real lol. Most women (or at least the ones who are worth it) are surprisingly simple. Don’t try to deceive or change yourself for them. Asking questions to move the convo along is fantastic - and will encourage them to ask you questions too. The right lady will like you for you. If she doesn’t, she wasn’t going to be worth it in the long run. Have fun and good luck!!
