Do you want to go back to my place?

"Do you want to go back to my place?"

This is literally the worst line to use when inviting the girl back to your place

Not only it’s unoriginal but it puts a lot of pressure on the girl because you’re almost asking directly - "do you want to sleep with me?"

So here’s what I do instead.

First I ask - “can I trust you?”

She says - “yeah, sure, why”

Then I say - “well, I have an amazing infusion collection and we can go drink it, but you need to promise me that you won’t break my favourite cup with your soft, brittle hands” with a smile of course

Then she usually laughs and says something like - “ok, ok, I will try my best”

Why this is much better

First of all, it reverses the frame - you invite her back but only if she promises to behave

Second - you’re avoiding the “my place” wording which has negative connotations

Third - you make her laugh with a joke which diffuses pressure and increases probability of her accepting your suggestion
