Not married**

This is how I see it. And rightfully so. Well in a marriage I believe your partner should have rights. If you die then your assets should go to the living spouse. If you're sick your spouse should be able to handle your medical affairs. And historically that has been the wife.

Now in most cases during divorce One side should not be better off and then the other prepared to how they went into the marriage. And if so not by much. If you love someone and you care for them they should be legally protected through marriage. Though my wife should trust me to always take care of her I would love it that there are legal protections to make sure she is guaranteed those protections.

And same thing about prenuptial agreements. I know my life cares for me and now the law will enforce it in worst case scenario.
