In my opinion, I would MUCH rather be single than involved with somebody who I was not attracted to. It's so much easier to be single.

If the evidence was telling me that I was never going to get a partner who I actually found attractive, I'd say "oh well" and focus on other things. In fact, I spent a significant part of my life doing just that.

The main problem with your thesis is that unattractive people want attractive people as much as other attractive people do. Unattractive people, though themselves unattractive, want and are attracted to attractive people. (That's a mouthful.)

Cause no one wants bottom tier. People are biologically and socially driven to pursue attractive traits. Incels like to say that women actively hate bottom tier men, but they themselves dont really put that much effort into trying to get bottom tiered women. Plus, what is considered bottom tiered varies greatly amongst different demographics and individuals.

I do think people tend to be attracted to others that are similar in interests or something specific but I really don't think anywhere other than Twitter are people actually walking around thinking that person is beneath me. But even if these less attractive women don’t ride the CC, they are still holding out for that high value man for a significant amount of time.

Because not everyone values appearances over everything else. Because someone who isn't attractive on the outside might have exactly what you're looking for on the outside. I'm not saying that people who are only or mostly attracted to beauty are superficial or shallow, it's just a matter of subjective priorities.

As with the questions you posed at the end of your post, maybe unattractive people want to be with good looking people, or they don't realize they might not be as attractive as they think they are.
