This is a weird thing I see but don't really get. Single moms, lonely men, and people who are unhappy with their relationships are usually discounted as being this weird category of unworthy people who don't deserve anything good happen to them. Usually this is done so the poster in question can turn around and say problems don't exist. After all, people who have problems are just naturally losers who should be ignored and they don't have a problem, therefore the problem doesn't really exist.

If you want to say "fuck you, got mine" that's one thing. But there's this weird insistence on a debate forum of all places that if you don't debate a problem and ignore it it'll just go away on it's own. If sexless dudes are a quarter of young men and single moms are a quarter of households it becomes pretty clear that we're basically discounting at least a quarter of the overall population, with all relevant demographics growing rapidly.
