Aren't they uncomfortable? And if you want the guy to be taller, why wear them?

Personally, I think the fact that women still obsess over being shorter than the guy is proof that gender roles aren't going anywhere anytime soon, even with feminism claiming to get rid of them.

And maybe you don't care about a man being taller than you, but are insecure about what other people think. Who cares what other idiots think?

Regardless, what good does wearing high heels do if you truly want to be the shorter one?

For reference, I'm between 5'10-6'0 and wear boots so it's rare for a gal to be taller than I, so this isn't some sour grapes short guy syndrome post or anything. I am just sincerely curious why you want to wear ridiculous stilts on your feet that obviously make you uncomfortable, if you desire to be the shorty.
