I kind of agree and kind of don't.

Frankly, I'm pro-MGTOW already and would probably be considered a WGTOW by some precisely because I don't want marriage, kids, or cohabitation/sharing of finances with my lover and I prefer to focus on getting further in my career and being completely debt free one day. But there's a difference between the MGTOW and WGTOW who do so because they are honestly happier doing what they want instead of what society tells us VS the men and women who "go their own way" like a child who is loudly informing you they didn't want to play your stupid game anyway.

I have friends irl who are MGTOW, and we get along well because we understand each others life goals and accept the fact that a lot of people...yes, men and women alike...just suck. Seriously, I don't envy those who go on dates constantly looking for "the one" because there's a hell of a lot of chaff to sort through before you find a genuinely nice person. My fwb and I really lucked out finding each other and it shows in the fact our relationship is a LTR instead of a 2 year fling. If either of us had to seriously try our hand in the dating world, I don't think we'd succeed.

So yeah, if she knows it will make her happy and keep her sane to live independently, a woman should absolutely do as you say. But so should a man...again, if he's given it serious thought and knows it'll be better for him in the long run. But that's not because there are no good men or no good women out there, it's just that the time spent trying to find one may take you a real long time...

Lets assume that this is true. Women were born with higher social intelligence than men, which aids in their role as the selector. If you as a woman cannot select a man who will be loyal, loving and supportive then that is your problem. In my small close knit community Women have no problem in doing this, I know of one out of maybe 50 or couples who got a divorce.

The average woman is better off living her own life without marriage and commitment.

Psychology says otherwise, both men and women often time suffer if they hit their 40's/50's and they have no family, though women suffer more. There is a lot of literature on this.

It is better to be financially and emotionally secure and also stable with some bouts of romantic happiness rather than risking it all for the "chance" at long term love.

The Average woman in US would only be able to make around the median income in the US which is $30000, which is something if you are single, but hardly bliss unless you love that minimalist life style.

There are great men out there, but you won't have a chance of getting them unless you are a great women too. Instead of whining like a child that the amount of good women and men out there is shrinking, instead work on yourself so you will stand out and land a partner of equal quality.

You can go ahead and do that if you want. I agree that some people are probably better off on their own. The traditional models of husband and wife are pretty rigid, and surely not for everyone.

It's not a lifestyle decision to be taken lightly though if you ask me. There seems to be plenty of women (and men probably) who already made such a decision, and wound up regretting it. First and foremost, most people want to have children. That's not an easy task regardless of the money it requires. It's a full-time job, and most people are glad of someone to share the burden with. Second, dont you think it's kinda nice to have someone around? I dont always appreciate it but it's good to have someone to chill with. I like my time alone, but it can get boring. And most people, even red pilled people, say that they prefer sex in a relationship to flings.

Finally, this is a good idea, but the problem is that our generation has been told we can do anything we want, but no one has told us how. There are lots of men and women out there who are full of ambitious bluster but dont have the talent and grit to see it through. A lot of people just arent going to make it big. Furthermore, lots of people who do make a bit of money get tired of their jobs and all that. It's exciting at first, it wears you down after many years. People who live to work are often stressed out and dull themselves. Having a partner eases this.

So in conclusion, if you really think that that lifestyle is the way you want to go, then Id say go for it. Not everyone is the same. However, there will always be more people who go for the family route.

There is always going to be some conflict, of course, but lots of couples trust each other, treat each other well, and don't cheat on each other. Choices like these are personal choices and shouldn't be made for other people who do have the capability, with perhaps some luck, of finding happiness in a long-term relationship.

In my experience - working the 9-5 day in and day out is not only exhausting, it's downright depressing. If you don't have anything else in your life other than your career that's pretty sad. Among college-educated women who get married (90%), only 35% of them end their first marriage in divorce (source). Even if you account for things like not wanting to divorce because of religion or kids, a significant portion of them are presumably happy with their marriages.
