To be fair this portrays single men as schlubs when that’s actually not that common. Ya maybe a college kid or a neckbeard but it’s a minority. A lot of men, mgtow and not, do have great jobs, charisma, great social lives involving women, and are attractive in every way. They just don’t agree to marriage seeing how most divorces ARE initiated by women and men DO have to pay alimony and/or child support the majority of the time.

I've found that there's a pretty diverse group in the MGTOW community, whether people want to see it or not. It ranges from raging volcels to intelligent men that just want to protect themselves in the current environment. I'm one of the latter. I love women, and still have relationships with them, but I will never get married. That's a legal issue, not a romantic one.

There are a lot of guys who have "gone their own way" and know nothing of the broader MGTOW movement. They don't spend their time online ranting about women. They merely looked at the raw deal that modern marriage and fatherhood has become for men and decided they didn't need that complication in their lives.

They still date. They may even be serially monogamous and generous to a certain point with their partners. When it comes time for more than that however, they are either off to the next partner or they spend more time with their hobbies for a while.

What irritates you is that some guys came along and put a name to the notion of not marrying, not co-habitating, and not having children that a lucky few realized before being destroyed in a divorce and more learned after it. They then tried to explain the behavior. They then pointed out why it is happening and try to steer more men away from the yawning maul that is family law.

That 35 year old mom on POF? She doesn't want a nice guy. There are plenty of nice guys on there and, more than likely, she could pick one at random and be treated well. MGTOW here. MGTOW date women all the time. They just don't marry them or live with them. Most MGTOW live that lifestyle because they met someone, got married, and then got screwed by family and divorce court. They got into terrible situations because they DIDN'T have a problem meeting women.

I'm sure some are fat losers but there are fat losers in every cohort.

The few I know are High Value and do quite well with women. They're active and fit and seem to meet women at the gym a lot.

There seems to be a conflation of MGTOW with incels, but this is a mistake.

I think you got it wrong, and I am serious about this.

No, not because women want every guy in existence including the average MGTOW, but because they want to be wanted. Women want the privilege to be pined after by as many guys as possible, regardless of whether they are actually into these guys or not - kinda like men want to be able to fuck as many women as possible regardless of whether they'd actually date them or not.

That's also why they get their panties in a bunch whenever a guy removes them from their own target demographic when it comes to dating, even though they would make a terrible match - why single mothers are butthurt when guys don't want to date women with kids in tow (even though a guy who doesn't want that would make a terrible partner), why sluts are butthurt when men are judgmental (even though a guy like that would make a terrible partner for them), why women in general are butthurt that MGTOWs exist in the first place.

They resent that there are less men around who are willing to inflate the price tag on their vagina, and are simultaneously afraid that any of these mindsets might become more pervasive and at some point ensnare a guy they actually want. Joke aside, a lot of people do not understand simple laws of economics. IF (a big IF) a substantial number of low value guys went MGTOW, they would still affect just about everybody. We are all connected by a single datign market that stretches from the lowliest, barely dateable neckbeard to the handsomest Chad.
