Women's sexuality is more complex than men's, but no, of course women don't hate sex. From an evolutionary perspective that would be totally counterproductive.

How can a person who enjoys sex feel repulsion at the thought of having it?

I enjoy food, but the thought of eating food I dislike repulses me.

If something has to be super top tier in order for you to enjoy it, you probably don’t truly like that thing.

First of all, penetrative sex isn't that enjoyable for a lot of women. Some of them, I would say most of them, can't have an orgasm just from penetration. Sex is enjoyable, if you're attracted to a partner or if you at least can have an orgasm more often than not. It isn't a problem for most men, so I think it's one of the reasons why some of them have lower standards.

Secondly, sex can lead to an unwanted pregnancy. Pregnancy, giving birth and having a child is much harder than just paying alimony, just because you can die doing it and it will lead to some permanent changes of your body, even if it will a happy pregnancy without any side effects.

Thirdly, less women than men can get some ego boost by having a new lover. It can be nice, he can be great, but the act of having sex with him doesn't make you superwoman and I doubt that women brag about having a new lover each week, like some men do.

Sex is great, but sometimes it's just not worse the troubles.

If men supposedly have sex with whoever just because the act of sex is good, regardless of who he is having sex with, then what’s stopping men from fucking old fat women or getting BJs from other men?

Being attracted to the person is the first step in taking ones clothes off to begin with, and men are just as likely as women not to have sex with someone they are not attracted to. I don’t see a lot of men out there jumping whatever comes their way. You make it sound like men have zero standards and because they don’t, women shouldn’t either. It’s insulting to both genders.

This is just not true. Just because we want sex from certain people and not everyone doesn’t mean we don’t like sex. Have you ever had bad sex? Because bad sex is boring at best and extremely painful at worst. Sex with a man a woman has chemistry with is one of the most euphoric things on the planet. When I find a guy like that I constantly want sex and don’t stop thinking about it. The food and/or wine analogies were definitely good ones. Just like wine I’ll use liquor. I think that some women just have such low libido that sex to them means nothing. I've seen it with some women I know, they see sex as a "reward" for their husbands when they do something. Not as a pleasant orgasmic experience.

I have a friend that told me that sex is bothersome to her, like a job she has to do so she won't get cranky sometimes, and most of the times she just quickly masturbates to get it out of her system.

I asked them if their husbands are bad in bed, they tell me that's not the case, most of the time the husbands consistently give them orgasms, but they wouldn't mind if tomorrow they stopped having sex forever.

So I blame low libido.

Women like sex, but experience sex drive in a very different way.

For men, it's an urge to fuck. To seek out, to penetrate, to dominate. It's an urge that compels action.

For women, it's an urge to get fucked. To be receptive, to be filled. It's an urge that compels more passively - a horny woman may not initiate anything, but she will put herself in a position to be noticed, to be approached, to be lead into a sexual interaction. She is compelled to submit, rather than dominate.

Of course, men seem to have lower standards for sexual interaction, which suggests they have a higher sex drive. But it's not the case at all that women are disinterested in sex.

You know that saying ‘sex is like pizza. Even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good’. I don’t know who came up with it but I’m willing to bet on my life it’s a man. A bad pizza in this analogy for men means it’s cold, or the cheese is a bit hard or maybe it’s got an ingredient they don’t really like. But it’s still edible. A bad pizza for women is a pizza that contains an ingredient that she’s allergic to or some undercooked chicken that makes her bedridden for a week while she vomits.

(Almost) EVERYONE likes good sex. It’s only men that are still able to somewhat enjoy bad sex. And women are more likely to have bad sex. And this isn’t even getting into things like the orgasm gap between men and women, women risking pregnancy, hormonal birth control fucking with women’s libidos, higher risk of STIs, higher risk of pain and abuse not to mention murder or rapey tendencies from men that you don’t vet properly.

Nope.

I have some favorite foods. I don't eat them every meal ever day whenever I can even though I easily could. Even the best gets boring after a while.

I have a lot of sexual experience, with group sex and orgies, and threesomes etc. Some times you would rather go fishing. My wife and I had a free night last night, we could have gone to a swinger event, we could go to one tonight too, we have a local sex club and no plans, but we'd rather just stay in. Been there done that, not really in the mood.

Sex being so awesome and important for everything goes down with experience. It can be all consuming when you aren't able to get any, almost like needing a breath, its all you can think about, but you don't think about breathing when you aren't having any issues.

I do think women as a group, are better with going without for longer, but you've obviously never seen a super horny woman who just wants to get laid. It does happen. You don't have to be chad.

I know how that sounds but I'm an asexual guy who's been in relationships in which the stress point was how much sex I was willing to have with them and I've lost friendships with women because I didn't want to sleep with them.

There really is a difference between asexual women and heterosexual women. Don't lump one in with the other.
