This is one of the most heated discussions I've seen within the red pill community. I'm going to be straight with you and say some guys think pressure is Ok, but most of us think it is not acceptable.

Also, pressure means different things to different people.

When I was a young man and married, my xwife never initiated and she would be receptive to foreplay, but then 20 minutes later decline sex. At one point I just got so frustrated that I walked out. After settling down and talking about it... she said she needed me to really push for it sometimes and then she would get into the mood. That worked, and she was happy with it. But it always made me feel really uncomfortable.

I only share this personal story to illustrate how difficult this topic can be to navigate.

Wants are relative. Forceful coercion is the demarcation line between actually not wanting something and a simple expression of an individual’s order of wants.

For example:

I do not want to spend $25,000 on a motorcycle

I do want a Ducati xDiavel S

If I walk into a Ducati dealership and ride out on an xDiavel S with a $25,000 lighter wallet, I cannot legitimately claim that Ducati “pressured” me into doing something I didn’t want to do (spending $25,000 on a motorcycle) - unless the salesman actually used force (or the threat of it) to coerce me into purchasing the bike.

Rather, I simply wanted the xDiavel S more than I didn’t want to pay $25,000 for a motorcycle.

To present myself as a victim of the Ducati salesman because I didn’t want to pay $25,000 for a motorcycle but am agreeable by nature would require me to believe that I am not a fully reasoning adult human being with any agency in my own actions.

This isn't too surprising, because women are only attracted to the Top 20% of men. Intimacy with the average Joe, especially over the long term, is awkward and stale, and causes resentment in a woman. But with an Alpha? Suddenly she seems awfully eager to get down and dirty. This is pretty much all the sex I've ever had. I'm too much of a doormat to say no... then they emotionally latch like glue and it all goes downhill from there.

As for trpillers, I think it's more like, they can't imagine not wanting sex for some reason, so they can't put themselves in the shoes of the girl in question. And as you said, they forget that women are socially taught to be agreeable and people-pleasers, or can't fathom that women might just pity them.

All instances of your third category can be included into one of the first two you mentioned.

If she is shy but attracted to the guy then she is attracted enough to have sex with him.

If she is too agreeable but not attracted she is avoiding the discomfort of having to draw a line in the sand and say NO. And clearly she saw that discomfort as bigger than the potential discomfort of the sexual encounter.

Women want to be treated as adults so that is the result. If you are an adult it doesn't matter if you are shy/insecure. You are responsible for not doing things you don't want to do.

Yeah, I think this does happen, but the Red Pill does acknowledge it on some level, just not framed those terms. Certainly there's an element of this in game/PUA that talks about overcoming last-minute resistance, etc (basically, playing to some extent on women's agreeableness but also their fickle nature more generally...its a bit akin to sales in that sense)...anyone who has an sense would admit that this happens. This is also a really difficult thing to navigate when sometimes its also about her wanting the guy to be more assertive/dominant etc.

In any case, so what if this is the case? All things considered (and "consent" etc notwithstanding, which is the problem with the whole discourse nowadays about affirmative consent), its generally the right strategy. .i.e. guy is better of being assertive and pushing for what he wants within reason (i.e. not being outright forceful or rapey which of course is wrong) because the alternative is often that you're not being assertive enough and you don't get anywhere. i.e. the alternative is to adopt a strategy where you just let the women who want you come to you and in that case you'll probably be waiting a long time.

The guy can't really help that the girl has low self-esteem and doesn't have the self-confidence to just say no, that's not under his control, that's really her problem and there isn't much he can do about it. At some point everyone is responsible for their actions, as much as women try to claim that they aren't half the time.

Being seduced into sex isn't the same as being pressured/forced/bargained into sex. A woman that may not have had intentions on having sex with a man can be seduced into sex. Seduction is a real thing and it's far different than being pressured into it by manipulating the mind. I think many people have forgotten that seduction does still exist. But I would agree most men aren't able to seduce women they use manipulation

I know Pick up guys, as the top comment says, call this last minute resistance (as the comment explains). I've never encountered it myself, but i think they may be confusing playful resistance, to actually inability to say no.

As for TRP, i imagine they cahlk it up to a flaw in women's character. If she didn't want to have sex, she'd have never let herself get to the point of being within inches of intercourse. Or she'd just leave. For her to not be able to say no is her own fault. Or she could've just said "i don't want to have sex" and left immediately.

I've never had to use any of those strategies to "tear down last minute resistance", or haven't consciously done so. To do all that just seems thirsty imo.

Yes. Society has conditioned women from a young age to accept sex, even if they dont want to, because if not they are labeled backwards and shamed for being prudish. Porn and the libfem movement, as well as male degenerates jumping on the bandwagon have pushed for such stigma against not being thots. Even low self esteem women who are only being used as a one light stand will feel pressured because they dont know when itll happen again, and if they refuse they're not "as sex positive" or whatever.

If a women acts like society tells her too, she'll be used and men will hate her once they're done using her. Of she disobeys society, males will claim to lover her lager on on life, but still use younger women who are obeying society. Afterall one of the reasons married men cheat more often as they age is they arent attracted to the one person they vowed to love all their life, rather their attractive to the ones that they can easily manipulate into degrading acts.
