This is the 4th relationship advice post I've seen today that has made me question if males are even human at this point. I don't understand how male abuse of their wives, girlfriends etc is so common that there's several posts a day. It's just disgusting. So upsetting. It’s easy to tell her to leave him but how hard it must be at her age and with 3 young children.

I always advocate for young women to take their time before getting married and start a family to vet their partner and allow the HVM mask to drop and run away if they find out they are dealing with an LVM.

Mostly, please ladies know your worth and keep your independence! We all look after our home and our children, even working mums do. We don’t need to look after an adult partner. We need financial independence to maintain the choice to walk away when things aren’t right. Focus on your career and don’t put your fate in someone else’s hands!

It never ceases to amaze me at how lvm expect to be catered to with cooking, etc. just for something as generic as having a job (normal adult expectation). I have a fairly demanding full time job and nobody cooks for me or cleans my place and I don't expect anyone too. The entitlement of these men to think that them having a job entitles them to a free slave to me reveals how much male privilege exits in our society.

I can't be on those subreddits anymore. First of all I'm an anti natalist so I am against people having more children than replacement rate. So that's anything above 2. Ever notice how the majority of the posts feature families with 3-5 kids?

Second of all, I cannot CANNOT see one more post about a 23 year old with three kids and an abusive 32 year old husband.

The relationship subreddits are an exposition of human garbage and the women tethered to them through a brood of children they were probably coerced into having.
