Let's say you're a young guy who has recently moved to a brand new (large) city with no preexisting social circle. You're looking to date new people and want to avoid online dating. So you can either try to meet strangers in bars & nightclubs or join a casual social activity like dancing or yoga. I've found that bars and night clubs aren't really popular with Gen Z (mostly people 30 and up) but I don't think casual social activities really are either. I've attended a few Meetup events and for the most part its pretty hard to find people under the age of 25 (even under 30 is kinda rare).

QUESTION:

Is dating through clubs, social activities, and Meetups actually viable for young men? It seems like there aren't a lot of young women that join social clubs, and when they do, they usually aren't open to meeting people (with their friends and not inclusive). Has this worked for you or do you think it has a decent success rate?
