That’s not true. A woman who has low confidence or no self esteem, yeah she might get dates. But the Men will walk all over her. Having low self esteem if you are a woman or a man and trying to get into a relationship with low self esteem isn’t a good idea.

Most men could do the bare minimum, passively exist, and find a gay guy willing to have sex or date him. Of course, most men aren't gay, or even bi, and even those who are most don't want thirsty gay guys who would fuck any dude.

My point is that having options you don't want is not better than having no options or few options.

The anti-redpill position isn't that women don't have more options, it's that those extra options aren't better.

The real question is why there are large minority of straight men who will date any woman regardless of her personality and often even her looks? Why do so many guys act like desperate creeps?

Some say it's because they're starved for sex/affection. Some say it's bdcause men are more sexual than women. I don't really buy either of those explanations. I was a bullied virgin at one time in my life, and I was very very depressed. I never acted like those desperate creepy men at all. I always had crushes on individual women, and their personalities always matter as much as their looks to me. I've also known lots of hypersexual women and don't buy that women are less horny.

Honestly, I think it's how many men are raised and socialized by the larger culture. They're socialized to expect control and to be entitled when it comes to sex. Women are like this too, but about different things. It's one of the reasons I hate wedding culture. Girls are encouraged to dream about the perfect wedding from a young age, and a large number become controlling monsters trying to make that happen. Many men are that way about sex. It leads to abusive controlling men having sex, and creepy desperate men who aren't having sex. Not all men are like this, but the ones who will date a woman regardless of her personality are.

Being perpetually single and friends with a lot of perpetually single women, we are just invisible. There is a group of women who never get anything because they are solitary, introverted, and content being that way. Some do lack confidence to flirt or date, so they remain off the radar.

Well, as a woman, why would you want to date a man who is likely to fall apart under pressure? Then again, as a man, why would you want to date a woman who would fall apart under pressure?

Confidence is important for everyone, not just men. That said, we all have insecurities and we all feel more confident in some areas and less confident in others. Equally important, for relationships, is the ability to be vulnerable and share our insecurities and bond over our fears. It is likewise important to choose a partner that fills yours gaps, so to speak, so you even one another out and can rely on each others strengths; red pill won't tell you that.

Sorta true… maybe? Again we live in a culture that enforces different standards on men and women. That being said, confidence is one of those things where having it will literally help you in a majority of life’s scenarios. I used to be super insecure in myself throughout highschool and I decided that I needed to change. I adapted. I am a social butterfly now and my quality of life has changed immensely. I think this can apply to both men and women.

Also, I feel like dating someone who is only putting in the bare minimum is an indication of a lack of self respect. Don’t let people walk over you. Trust me, it’s better to get a bit of a shark bite behind you lest you risk being a victim of narcissists.

I think the men have to ask women out custom is lessening so it is becoming more important for either to have confidence. I myself have asked out men. Also the average woman probably wouldn’t attract that many men if she was not trying to beautify herself (wearing revealing clothing, makeup, etc).

Lack of confidence kills relationships equally across all genders, it just looks different per person.
