Any time I've been regularly talking with a guy on OLD who goes silent on me but I can see him online, I block him. When I say silent I mean I haven't heard a peep in more than 3 or 4 days but I have seen him online. I'm not going to stay on your roster of possibilities. I expect people get busy with life between work, family etc. But when you're clearly online and say nothing (and ball's in your court conversation wise), I'm not going to message you to beg you for some attention. I'm not a used car salesman. If you're suddenly not interested or you found some pickme willing to sext you with (because I won't), fuck off.

I just did this with a guy last week who I'd been talking to daily for 2 weeks that I'd really hit it off with. Probably the best guy I'd found so far on OLD. I still blocked him. I'm not going to stay matched, hoping that he'll message me out of the blue a month from now out of boredom or desperation.

I was strung along like this for a whole year!!! Because I was such a pickme with no idea what a fuckboy really is. I straight up thought he was just busy and focused on himself. My naive brain thought it was okay that he follows a million ig bikini models. My dumb ass sent paragraph apologies to this guy who could not care less after I called him out for flaking on me. I helped him get started on a career when he had no idea what he was doing and I got nothing back but being ignored. And now I feel embarrassed 24/7 that I allowed that even though I didn’t know better. I can’t wait for this feeling to fade. How dare men believe this behavior is okay.

I used to think, “why do I always attract x?” Thanks to the internet i know it’s not just my upbringing or whatever... there is actually an infestation of these cliche basic men. It trips me out. Do they not know that they are all the same? Or are we just finding this out as women bc of social media, the internet, mass communication?

There's a guy I've been talking too for a long while now

Before discovering this sub, we used to have very sexual conversations. I get the impression he wanted to sleep with me.

It wasn't until one night, again we talked about sexual stuff and he said something along the lines of "yeah, I'd sleep with any woman" in response to if he wanted to sleep with me or not

At that moment I realised I was just a woman to him. He didn't want me for who I am but because ANY woman would do

It completely broke me for a bit and the next day I made clear I didn't want anymore sexual talk, we should just remain friends

"lol okay, I wasn't even planning on anything"

Well we continued as normal, sometimes he brought sexual stuff in but I ignored it

Welp, last week even though we spoke EVERY DAY and he's currently not working, locked down at home etc, I didn't hear from him in 4 days.

I continued on as normal as I'm focusing on various things during my lock down

He finally contacted me as usual and I spoke up

"hey, I didn't hear from you for 4 days, what's up?"

He told me he decided to have some "lazy days" (ie playing games.... Which he's does all the time outside work)

He just didn't bother, he literally was doing nothing else

I finished with "fair enough"

Haven't spoken to him since, he double messaged me
