If you’re talking on the phone and he says that dinner dates are too much, you just calmly say, “Cool. Well, I gotta go. Bye.” Then you block him. Don’t spare him an ounce of your emotional energy. You’re not even angry. You don’t feel anything. He is simply... inconsequential. A queen doesn’t get fazed by a LVM.

If a LVM man can get sex the cheapest way possible, he'll never offer a dinner date. They see things like this as "what is the least amount of effort I can make in order the get the best outcome for myself (sex)".

The great thing is, they are transparent from the start! Offer me a cheap ass date? Bye!!! They can be weeded out straight away. I actually internally thank them for being so stupid. Much less time wasted 👋

Calling dinner a commitment is either them being honest, and he thinks dinner is too scary because God forbid you maybe get to know one another on a date!-so bail. Or they're trying to manipulate you into the low commitment path to sex (getting you drunk.) Either way, bail.

Pretty ridiculous for someone that age. Dinner dates were still standard for Gen X. I'm 45 and all the men I dated when I was younger invited me to a dinner date first. But I didn't meet them on OLD, so that could be a factor.

I've done lunch and dinner for first dates...and my dates were students. (I prefer lunch as it feels more casual and I feel safer meeting a stranger during the day).

I would love dinner dates. But it's a real hassle because of food intolerance i have. Going out for dinner is always a risk, so i hardly do it. Unless i trust the restaurant to be very secure.
