Hi there. I’m a feminist coming in peace. I just have a few questions that I have been curious about.

So I have met a few mens rights activist, and unfortunately I think the few I met were more in a reaction to feminism. Like these guys only brought up mens rights as an opponent to feminism, but didn’t seem to actually care about real issues plaguing men today(I.e Men getting sexually assaulted, men getting fucked in divorce proceedings etc). So do you guys try to always keep these important discussions happening or is it more of a reactionary thing?

What are some things we as a society can do for men? Change some laws? Break free from “men have to be a, b, c to be a man”. Like for me as a feminist I believe that if my activism doesn’t include men I’m not doing enough.

Where do you think sexism from men comes from? Personally I think it can be traced back to women. For example “you throw like a girl” or that women are more seen as the caretaker so men have to pay child support but don’t get the kids as often in divorces. Maybe this is wrong of me to think it comes from misogyny so I really want to hear differing points of view.

What is your take of toxic masculinity. For me, just like toxic femininity, it basically stumbles upon society’s rules implemented on how to be a man or woman. And in my opinion that’s bullshit. Men should be allowed to cry without fear of being judged. If y’all want to wear a dress or a tux who am I to stop you. Basically my philosophy is fuck what everyone thinks, do what makes you happy.

I hope none of this came off as ignorant or offensive. I just want to learn more.
