That's because:

a) women benefit from far more social and interpersonal systematic privileges, because they are women, which gives them better moral/financial/emotional support, better agency over their own lives and others, and less accountability for their mistakes and fewer reasons to fall into despair.

b) women are not expected to be competent fighters and protectors(most women don't even feel they should put ANY effort in learning how to defend themselves or practice common sense), and are probably a lot less likely to know how to procure and handle firearms, let alone be capable enough carry through with direct/open physical hostility.

In a society that trains boys to be soldiers and that treats them the way they do, you are going to have violent breakdowns.

Women and men are different. The differences have good and bad consequences, especially in a diseased society. Lots of women in America have gone full blown psycho, but nobody really talks about it. There are college educated women who will have multiple abortions and then as they approach 40 decide it is time to have a child and then seem genuinely surprised that they made poor choices in this regard. Since Roe v Wade we've had about 65 million abortions, most of them performed for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with the life or health of the mother. Usually the reasoning is stuff like, "it's not the right time" or "the would be father isn't ready" or "it will derail my plans but I wouldn't consider adoption" and all the way down to things like, "don't want a girl" and "not sure who the dad is"... Now I blame plenty of men for the whole abortion industry, don't get me wrong. Just trying to point out that we live in a sick society. Through most of human history a child was considered a happy blessing. Sure, sometimes a burden, but people would then offer up their child to others.

In one instance to get the police's help, I applied for a restraining order. These are both women. Men are different. Especially when puberty hits and the most dangerous time occurs. There needs to be that release and guidance. Which is now being labelled as toxic masculinity. Competition is good, getting the bottled up energy out is good and growing up with role models is incredibly important.
