when women say men handle rejection worse than women, they mention a very small minority of men that would intentionally harm a woman for saying no. it's not that these men don't exist, but how many men are willing to hurt a woman over a rejection? Usually men already anticipate that they're going to be rejected anyway. When women use this argument, they're implying the average male is a violent psychopath.

in my experience women usually don't handle rejections well compared to men anyway, they assume you're gay and will usually ask why and sometimes press further.
