The simps most people talk about are just one type of simp among many types of simps. Simping is basically a spectrum and most men are on it. One example that immediately comes to mind is how men tend to get down on their knee and ask a woman to be with them until death. This is simp behaviour. Imagine asking another human being to sign a contract vowing that they'll love you forever. This is exactly what a simp would do, and yet many men who generally aren't considered to be simps tend to do this.

The unfortunate reality is that most men put women on a pedestal while devaluing themselves. Even conservative men who think they're better than women do this. Society has conditioned men for generations to look outside themselves for validation, especially from women. So what we see now are a lot of guys chasing, pleasing, or putting women on pedestals in hopes of being seen, loved, or chosen. This is simp behaviour.

It's deeper than just buying gifts or doing too much. It's in the way men hold back their truth just to avoid conflict. It's in the way they overcompensate, hoping their "niceness" will earn them love while they're ignoring how women actually are in reality.
