One of the biggest arguments you will see for men going Red Pilled is from poor treatment in divorce. With how family law is set up and the Duluth model if domestic disputes and allegations are involved, divorce is legally rigged against men. By default it seems, men can lose their primary custody or even may never see their kids and never be an influence on their children again even if they want to be or are the better parent for his kids. With alimony, child support, and how expensive lawyers are, a man can lose out on thousands of dollars and run him into debt for several years. He can also have his property stolen from him and can even lose his house. In the worst of cases, he can be falsely imprisoned based upon allegations that were not properly investigated to be found true or false.

Even without the family law and Duluth model disasters, today's social times are a strange one. With Feminism making it's profound impact on male to female interaction and on society, men can be argued to be getting the short hand of the stick. Men are still drafted into the military (in my country) when women aren't. Because of affirmative action programs, men may find it more difficult to find jobs compared to women. Even with male issues such as circumcision still existing today and also a lack of representation for domestic abuse, they're both overlooked. Feminism has also seemed to change in many men's eyes to not be for the progression of women but an attack on men and masculinity itself therefore, some will argue that there is a shortage of compatible and ethical partners for romantic relationships and marriage to them because men are not honored and respected as desired.

Besides a tax cut, men are backing out of marriage with the marriage rates continuing to drop and are sighting little to no incentive or valid reason why being married would be a good thing to them. My question for the women here in this subreddit is what is a good reason for men to get married in today's times? Also, if you disagree with how divorce is set up against men, what would you do to change it? I'd love to hear your answers to these. Thank you.
