What men are you talking about? I think a lot of people are tired of seeing sex work marketed everywhere. I like fashion subreddits since they inspire my outfits, but seeing women post there who are just advertising porn don’t inspire me. It is annoying to have to sift through all of that to find what I came to that subreddit for. Also sex workers need to stop going to websites that are 13+ linking their instagrams, that’s grooming. More than just men don’t like them.

I don't hate sex workers. People are free to choose to be sex workers. However, choices have consequences. Anyone who freely chooses to be a sex worker has disqualified themselves from consideration for LTR/marriage.

Most men don’t hate them as people. They just are disgusted by the fact that they sell their body for money and hence are disqualified from the dating pool.

For the ones that straight HATE sex workers I think it's jealousy. They're sexually deprived themselves then they see a woman not only getting way more sex but being paid for it. Something they(incorrectly) deem as pretty much no effort.

Just as far as this goes, people shouldn't keep confusing lust for respect. One does not indicate the existence, or lack of existence, of the other. A sex workers services are based around lust and have nothing to do with respect. Someone can want to fuck someone, and simultaneously be despise them. It's sad and feels gross to understand, but that's reality. It's not a reality that most of us will have to battle with, but it is a reality.

I'll preface this with letting people know I don't do casual sex, nothing outside of relationships and love, and I haven't gone out of my way to see porn of anyone that I'm not dating for since I was like, 20, so 10 years ago. Not because of some addiction, it was just... sort of boring.

I don't hate sex workers. I just wouldn't want a relationship with them that goes beyond acquaintance at most. Preferably not even that.

It's totally cool if they want to go and do that, but I just don't want to be around it.

I've never met an actual Only Fans girl or porn stars, but I've known prostitutes and strippers. Not through using their services, but just through my lower class environment.

They weren't great people. Super loud, aggressive, rude, belligerent, mean and opportunistic. You couldn't trust them further than you could throw them. They were very scummy people.

Which could be more to do with my environment, maybe there are super kind, sweet and well mannered upper/middle class prostitutes and strippers, but I don't have any experience with them.

As far as Only Fans goes, I don't hate them either.

I still wouldn't like to have any real depth of relationship wish someone doing those things. It would be enough to make me steer clear of those people.

Which, I mean, is fine. It's not like there's any shortage of people who WOULD want a deep relationship with a sex worker, so they'll be okay without me around. So it's not as though it's any skin off of either of our noses.

Lastly, this isn't just a men thing. It's not even remotely rare for very offline women to have a pretty substantial distaste and distrust of sex workers. Truthfully, I've heard FAR more women talk negatively about sex workers than I have men IRL.

✓ Greater likelihood of abortions

✓ Greater likelihood being in single parent households

✓ Greater likelihood divorces

✓ Greater likelihood of children being lower IQ, since there is a greater likelihood of a single parent-household

✓ Greater likelihood of committing crimes of said children involved

The rest can go on forever.

This question reminds me of a tiktok I seen where a popular OF model was kissing the walls of her mansion, and the caption was something like, "when thousands of men paid for your house", and the comments were full of livid men, slut shaming her and claiming she'll never find love.

I hate Onlyfans because:

a) They've changed the porn industry from fremium hardcore to a pay walled softcore.

b) Most previous OF women would of done prostitution, thus bringing down the cost.
