I haven't posted on Reddit in a couple months now. I can even say I really never used this sub. I, however, have been following Reddit's censorship and ongoing, tacit approval of harassing people they don't like. This sub may not get shut down, but if it wasn't clear to anyone before, it should be now. Reddit does not like anyone who isn't a part of their narrative.

What I do encourage you all to do is head on over to Voat. Is there a lot of nasty stuff over there? Sure. But you know what? You have to take the good with the bad. You don't have to actively engage in any content you don't like. While any private company is free to run their platform however they see fit, it is unacceptable when they tell everyone they're a platform for free speech when it is in fact something different. Voat, at the very least, is a platform of free speech.

Fuck Reddit. It's time to migrate. You all visit other subs. Which one of those is next?

I learned about doxxing back in the BBS days and used that experience to craft a much better OpSec for how I handle social media sites (e.g. reddit, twitter, and other fringe shitholes crawling with violent left-wing fascists). Looking at Mustaka's post history, yeah, he did everything wrong while also running controversial subreddits. I could write a book on the subject but would rather delete my account/posts, go in to obscurity, and come back under a fresh identity and be as opinionated as I please without fear of some violent leftist asshole hoping to go fascist on me and shut me up.

The left-wing dominance over society is slowly fading away in a brutal war of attrition. Whether it's Trump, Brexit, the far-right leading polls in this years European elections, the imminent death of the EU - the left is rapidly losing ground everywhere. They might win local battles through use of force, but they're losing the war as a whole. As with all fading political movements, they become more radical as they lose more and more support. We had an issue like this on /r/MensRights.

We now have a moderator with the top slot that is owned by a ghost - someone not on the moderator team, and who doesn't use the account for anything except as a backup. No one knows who it is anymore, specifically so that no moderator can be coerced to give up the information. Even if people managed to figure out and dox every single one of the active moderators, that account could still prevent anyone from taking control of the subreddit.

So yeah... Internet bullying and terrorism is a real thing these days. Protect yourselves. Sorry to hear about your troubles.
