The weird thing is, this doesn't just happen to guys that look as good as he does. Realistically I'm a slightly below average looking guy and quite short, and though I'm not "harassed" that frequently, the shit that has happened in the past was way worse than what happened to the girl in that video.

I was on the street one night with my phone to my ear talking to someone and some drunk fat chick grabbed my arm, nearly made me drop the phone, and tried to drag me to the club she was going to with her friends. One of her beta-orbiters had to step in and drag her off me and say "leave him alone, he doesn't like us".

Another time I had an ugly chick in a club try to dance with me and when I turned to leave she grabbed my shirt (my favourite, quite expensive, shirt) which resulted in it getting torn. (I mean, what do you think would have happened to me if I had grabbed a girl and torn the front of her dress?) But do you think the bouncers or anyone else gave a shit about what she did?

I enjoyed this very much. I'm not clear on why people are picking it apart...the guy is buff, but he's not Brad Pitt good looking...so the relative attractiveness between the two videos is comparable. The point was to show that this sort of verbal harassment (if you can even call it that) happens to all people with good SMV. Hell, even I get the occassional comment if I wear a tight shirt, and I'm not as buff as that guy.

This video hit the front page yesterday. It was interesting to see most of the comments from males being about aspiring to achieve the guy's physique/attractiveness or praise/admiration for the attention he was getting. Very little outrage or protesting the injustice of "street harassment.". That reaction just reaffirms the distinction between wanting to improve oneself to stay competetive within society's standards and wanting to remove or dismiss as unjust those standards which you don't meet.

This guy is in the 95%, the other girl was in the 60 percentile.
