Ultimately a creep is whatever a woman says. There could be a good reason, or no reason at all. Seriously, it's not rational at all. That's why it's important to not turn it into a bugaboo.

As a general rule, women reach for the creep card when a guy is making them feel insecure or sexually threatened. So it's a little bit of an occupational hazard of talking to women and expressing your sexuality. Every now and then you'll rub someone the wrong way, and sometimes it is you, and sometimes she's just crazy or a bitch.

So generally speaking, creepiness takes three different forms: legit, projection, and BBC - bitchez be cray-cray.

Legit creepiness is usually the result of miscalibration, poor intentions/state, or neediness. It usually takes the form of pushing far past her comfort zones, being pushy or over-aggressive, poorly calibrated sexual expression, or just being weird. Sometimes just you just get your signals crossed and you wind up here. That's when it's important to forgive yourself. Being creepy isn't a crime, contrary to what the feminists say, and most reasonable people would agree (so long as you steer clear of feminist-dominated contexts like corporate workplaces, where sexual harassment claims are now a political tool).
Projection is when a girl has an extremely strong sexual reaction to you, feels uncomfortable, and projects it onto you. That way, it's not her being horny, it's you being a creepy jerk asshole! Projection is an all too human thing, and this form we're describing is one sadly common to women, especially sexually insecure ones with strong sex drives - similar to that guy who says every girl that shot him down was leading him on. Anyway, when dealing with these types, the only real sane move is to back off and let them calm down, or just cut bait. You really should treat this behavior as a red flag, as it indicates a serious issue with personal responsibility.
This is just a grab-bag category for reasons that just don't make sense and/or are bullshit. Women are people too and they make all sorts of judgments about the opposite sex that are silly, irrational, or self-serving.

The way to avoid creepiness, or at least mitigate it, is to remember non-neediness, check your intentions, and calibrate. Figure out what she responds to and what she doesn't. Every girl has their own tolerance level for sexual initiative/expression and their own insecurities. On some level though, if you aren't pushing the line of creepy every now and then, you're probably being a pussy and not polarizing enough. Ideally you should walk up to that line, and not deliberately cross it. Remember that as a girl's comfort level and attraction increase, so does the bounds of acceptable behavior. For instance, I can touch my female friends and talk about sex with them in ways that would be totally creepy to a girl I just met. I can escalate on a girlfriend far more aggressively than I could with a girl I hadn't slept with yet. You should be getting the picture.

Part of the obsession with creepiness is a result of feminist craziness and the demonization of male sexuality that comes with it. This shit happens because women do have a legitimate and bona fide fear of men who aren't in control of their sexuality. These are the men who hurt women and ignore their boundaries. Show that you aren't that guy, that you're a man who likes sex, but you're not desperate for it either nor do you push yourself onto others when they don't want it.

The label is usually earned by having low confidence, being physically unattractive and/or escalating inappropriately.

Having low-self confidence often manifests as you not communicating effectively. If you don't communicate effectively girls don't know your intentions. If girls don't know your intentions they think you're concealing something. If they think you're concealing something, it's probably bad. If they think you're concealing something bad, it makes them uncomfortable. If you make them uncomfortable, they think you're a creep.

Therefore by the law of transitive property, having low self-esteem makes you creepy to girls.

The most obviously apparent forms of creepiness are when:

Someone is poorly dress, dirty, shaggy, generally gross. Make sure to brush your teeth, do your hair, wear clean clothes, smell nice. Do this and this level of creepiness shouldn't be an issues.
When you are obviously trying to obscure true motives behind an easily seen through facade. Remember in Revenge of the Sith when Palpatine is trying to influence Anikan and it's creepy as fuck? That's because we all know Palpatine is acting nice and friendly/helpful just to use Anikan for his own purposes. With regards to women, this takes the shape of being awkwardly friendly while clearly all you can think about is fucking them.
You lack social skills. This one is easily the hardest to get a handle on because social cues are difficult to learn if that's a struggle for you. A good way to start would be to read some books on body language so you can interpret how people are reacting to what you are saying and adjust accordingly.

I think why girls find somebody a creep is when he does not sees social cues, or signs or boundaries. Therefore making the girl uncomfortable. For example standing too close and when the girls steps back you step forward.

Whenever attractive or confident men do creepy things girls don’t find it creepy, I always ask them afterward if an unattractive person did the same thing if they’d call it creepy and their answer is always yes. Creepy dudes are non-confident attractive males or confident ugly guys. Very simple

To all those people saying it all has to do with attractiveness, that's not true 100%. There's plenty of women who aren't shallow. When you come off as creepy it can work both ways. Women can also be creepy. I've met plenty of men who I found unattractive as a first impression but their charming personality and sense of humor overcame that. Body language can help you detect whether someone is or might be into you. Catcalling is automatically creepy in my book and overall found inappropriate for most women. If the person isn't making eye contact with you, steps away, seems dismissive, doesn't smile at you, or avoids you/ hurries away, chances are they are not interested or simply busy (depending on the environment). Perhaps pick a better time or move along. Touching strangers too much even if it's just their hand or arm can come off as needy or inappropriate if you don't pick up body cues. Please learn to take no for an answer without getting upset!!! I've come into countless interactions with men I've found creepy and I'll provide some examples. 1) minding my business walking down the street headphones on. A man across the street yells something at me, stops in his tracks when I ignored him and begins to follow me calling me over. 2) I'm walking home from school and a strange van with tinted windows follows closely, window rolled down and a man inside calls me over saying I'm pretty. I never looked over once, van goes around the block and comes back. Follows me for a while (I called the cops) 3) Guy at a bar keeps looking my way, I notice but I'm not interested, so I don't hold his glance. He decides to walk over to grab my arm and pull me away from my group. (Big no!) 4) coworker having inappropriate sexual conversations at work within ear of strangers making sexist comments about women. 5) I was at a party and a stranger decided it would be a good idea to grab my ass and runs away laughing. (Ended up getting punched in the gut by me moments later, he decides to pick a fight with my bf over it and ends up getting beat up). 6) stranger adds me on social media, we have never met. Starts liking several old pictures which let's me know he's lurking my account. Decides to private message me saying he wants to be my "friend". I politely decline. He continues to message me sad emojis, sad gifs. I reply no further and the next day he likes some more old pictures and privately messages me again. Immediately blocked from then on. 7) minding my business while shopping, a stranger comes up to cart and holds on to it as I shop insisting we be friends, continues to follow me around the store as I shop even after rejecting his friendship. I could go on, but it really makes a difference on how you act before you make a move. If you're watching from a dark corner, just staring too much, when you follow someone for too long, social media stalking, sending unwelcome inappropriate messages to strangers, chances are they're not gonna be into you no matter how attractive you are.

Being a creep is being inappropriate or making someone feel uncomfortable. It’s doing your own thing regardless of their emotions.

If you can’t read the situation and you charge ahead with your plan even when it’s going wrong, that’s when you’re most likely to be a creep.

To much intense eye contact/no natural flow of conversation.

Talking to her at a bad time/in an unwanted place.

The way they are dressed/hygiene and smell.

It depends on the situation. 90% of the time it's a woman with either poor social skills or poor impulse control trying to communicate that they aren't attracted to a guy. 9% of the time it's projection by a legitimately creepy woman who is upset about being rejected. 1% of the time it's legitimately calling out a combination of poor social skills (lack of boundary awareness, limited or inappropriate vocabulary, and bad conversation planning) and physical ugliness (obesity, poor hygiene, deformities, ect.).

From a statistical perspective: if only one woman calls you creepy you're probably not creepy, if 50 women call you creepy on separate occasions you might be creepy, if 100 women call you creepy on separate occasions you're probably creepy.

example: Went on 1 date with a very attractive and successful guy. He kept asking for sex despite me saying no multiple times. Got jealous when I hung out with a guy friend and blew up my phone with threats til I blocked him. This was a more than a year ago and he still has found ways to contact me. Should have known since he came on way too strong.

I thik being a creep is really simple...alot of people are saying it can be as basic as bad looks, but generally its anyone who is incapable of reading or folllowing societal rules. A guy could look like brad pitt but if he cant hold eye contact or engages in strange conversations that would ring alarm bells to anyone, hes gonna be a creep
