True to a point. Being objectively healthy knocks out so many obstacles, but you can only go so far with an obnoxious or plankish personality.

Thanks again mate. Didn't know caffeine was that bad.
[–]kslidz 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
considering he also recommends to add it, it's obviously not bad at all.
[–]Ulanyouknow[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Why is caffeine so bad?
[–]Onovar 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe a lot of people won't agree, but i think that caffeine i snot unhealthy per sé, but the need of it is. When you get used to it. That's the problem. People should know that while drinking water, you will keep more energy. Your body will manage everything better. So cafeine intake can be much lower. I tell myself that water gives me energy, i know it's not true, but believing in it helps a lot :D
[–]kslidz 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
well he also recommends adding it (dark chocolate and green tea have about 50 mg of caffeine per serving which is a bit more than the coke zero i had this morning) so i would not take his word for it.
[–]virgavolanti 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
How much does mileage vary with caffeine? I work overnight/early morning shifts and I always find myself almost dozing off in the middle of my shift despite getting a full 8 hours of sleep before work without a cup or 2 off coffee. I'd like to be able to cut it from my diet if I can, but it's proving to be difficult and I always wind up overdoing it for the sake of staying awake.
[–]kslidz -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
dude, if it works for you, don't listen to some pseudoscience bullshit on the internet.
he literally recommends adding caffeine in the form of dark chocolate and green tea (a bit more caffeine per serving than a coke)
[–]shwasty_faced 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
The ways that caffeine enters your body is really important, dark chocolate and green tea are significantly better for you than soda or energy drinks.
But that said, the caffeine issue is more about timing and quantity; caffeine has a half life of about 6hrs and a quarter life of about 12, meaning if you drink a 12oz cup of Starbucks at noon it's basically the same thing as chugging 4oz of the same drink at midnight and thinking you're going to sleep well. Drink your coffee early and don't "super size" it, should help with sleep - it certainly did for me.
[–]kslidz 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
better for you than soda
i hadn't heard anything about that. could you share some details and information on this?
[–]shwasty_faced 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Sorry, I should have said that differently...
The other various components in most sodas are quite damaging to your body in comparison to things like dark chocolate and certain teas; the level of other sugars, dyes, etc.
"Better for you" isn't the right way to say it, the right way would be more along the lines of "less harmful"; the bottom line is everything in moderation but some things need to be more restricted in volume than others.
makes sense. appreciate the clarification.

You have some great points and opinions. Hits home on many of them. However, it should be reminded that like most human conditioning, killing habits and introducing new routines take time. It's not something to be done all at once. For some this may not be a good idea to change over night or even in a weeks time. Mental Health is no joke to mess around with or give advice on unprofessionally. The body and mind are both a delicate balance.

And if you actually read ncbi researches then you should know what negative effects prevalent in people who are 45 or older and influence on young people is rather insignificant. Also it all depends on balance of your diet and how much trans fat you actually consume. Well, I assume it is obvious to anyone what it is unhealthy to have high bodyweight %, but as long as you are able to keep it rather low then it doesn't matter so much what you eat.

Green tea and chocolate have caffeine in them so that's contrary to your "avoid" list. Maybe saying avoid excessive caffeine is a better one.
This is good advice for general health, but I don't see why you think these things have a connection to having good self esteem or social skills and dating life. I've personally met a lot of people who follow your suggestions already and don't have a good dating life, and vice versa. Yes I think your list is a good way to be at least somewhat attractive, physically, and making the best of your genetics. And it can HELP with mental health issues especially around fatigue and depression, but I don't see how it can help with self esteem, anxiety, and bad social habits.
So, it's a good list, I agree with it as suggestions, but not a solution in itself to getting better at dating.

they both have natural, low levels of caffeine, not high enough to cause a psychological addiction to it or affect your mood/sleep
that's just incorrect
they both have the same or more than cola per serving

Green tea is usually 1/2 to a 1/4 the caffeine to a cup of coffee depending on how it is made. Also some things like Matcha have a lot more caffeine and you just have to guess what you get at your local coffee shop if its not a tea bag.
Its a better alternative but there is still likely enough to keep someone strung along. Its probably enough to make me be needing it every day as I am very susceptible to caffeine addiction. I only have a cup of tea if I am going out anywhere or I have a meeting where I need to be sharp. So usually just 2-3 a week. Moderation is key imo

Agreed. Playing games and gaming chick are only really needed if you don't have yourself together.
"Don't be needy, wait 3 days, don't text too much in the beginning." If you have a busy successful life that comes naturally.
"Don't make yourself too available." You shouldn't be available all the time if your life is going well, you should have other hobbies and friends.
"Don't take their bs." It's basically saying you should have self respect. And you should, they don't respect you then f em.
All of these game rules come naturally for someone with a good life. Which is why they work for people who like to play games. Guys and girls especially want someone who has their shit together.
P.s. not talking shit on guys who game chicks, or anything of the sort. You do you. Just in my experience when my life is going well, I have a hard time keeping chicks off me. When things are rough for whatever reason, I couldn't land a date to save my life. Work on yourself and you'll find someone without games.

I think you are confusing a few things here. Eating healthy has a great effect on your body, working out as well, and to some degree you will feel more confident, but those are correlations not causations. When it comes to porn, that is a whole other story. It can skew your reality and only whacking off to porn and never having sex, will train you to only get off to the hard grip of your hand in combination with strong visual stimuli, which will make sex hard to enjoy.
True confidence comes from other sources,Ike achievements in life, positive experiences, moving out of your comfort zone, basically anything that makes you realize how much you can do on your own and how much success you can achieve.

getting these foundational habits is crucial to having the drive and motivation to accomplish such things that can bring you confidence, otherwise it's really easy to lose willpower, burn out and give up.
Good point. Being healthy is definitely a benefit to having the energy to not give up, but as you already pointed out in another comment, some people are not affected by that, I seem to be one of them who weren't as affected as many others.
one example that comes to mind is how tim ferriss mentions in tools of titans that over 80% of the people he interviewed practice some sort of daily mindfulness.
Yes... another good point. Usually people who have a lot of self control are the ones who eat healthy and keep other things in order, like sleep hygiene and working out.
maybe that is just one of the many secret ingredients to thriving
One thing is for sure, it will help a lot.
the most successful people alive right now didn't have nearly as much easy access to porn as we do now, which probably played a huge role in their perseverance and consistency.
That is something I think I should research, it would make sense though.
depression is at an all-time high right now and i think it can be one reason why
There are many factors, one I personally know of is the constant bombardment with other peoples "success" or happy lives, portrayed on the hundreds of social media sites. The one thing that made me fall into depression back in the days was my lack of understanding how to become successful, born out of a life of abundance and then being thrown into poverty. My generation was already incapable of understanding certain concepts like doing hard work to succeed, or accepting that life is no easy ride but suffering. At one point I thought I was just useless and would never make something of myself.
referencing your other comment, this is a crossroads i keep coming to. lots of successful people got to the top while battling depression at the same time, and i think it could be because of tons of different factors. some that we wouldn't be aware of unless we experienced being that specific person. not entirely sure
At least with the two I mentioned, we know they were overwhelmed with their success and struggling with addictions, which can be the reason, but also (and more likely) be a correlation and method to handle their problems. I know a few people who developed very bad addictions to handle their lack of success, which is of course the opposite of trying to handle success with drugs, but I believe it stems from the same problem of not knowing how to handle the abundance of certain emotions.

You can also just find an attractive gf with a high sex drive. It's not easy but its attainable. Porn will only fuck you up if you're only going after land whales or just anyone to get your dick wet.
Landing a last call chick at the bar who you would be embarrassed to be seen with is that not going to work out well for you after pulling it to Abella Danger before you headed out.

Depression is a very complex topic. It's a chemical imbalance of certain hormones in your brain, and this can happen to anyone regardless of bad habits. Think of successful people who took their lives because they were depressed, like curt Cobain or Robin Williams. Both had deep depression but were very successful in what they did.
[–]donDanbery 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Actually there is a better correlation to a healthy lifestyle and improving mental health, self-esteem and promoting better results at the gym. Being those a few of the basis of what it takes to do better at bettering yourself, I would say they do matter a lot

One of my high school buddies does literally the total opposite of this, and he still pulls 3 chicks a week, with more chasing him. For context, he's 27 years old, 6'3", average looking, a bit of acne, slightly overweight, average-pitched voice, consumes porn regularly, owns a startup, makes like $50k/y, drives a Jetta, rents an apartment near the big clubs, and has an ultra charismatic personality.
One night, I was hanging out with him and a few girls he friendzoned, he straight up suggested going to a strip club, zero fucks given; the girls were like "fuck yeah."
Yes, keep sipping your green tea and krill oil. That'll change everything for sure, right?
Right???
[–]DayvyT 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I mean, sure thats great for your friend, but how do you suggest others reading this adapt their behavior to be like that? Is it as simple as working on the charismatic personality? Genuine question.
[–]CarlCarlton 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I mean, the guy is clearly a natural extrovert, he used to be a salesman and now he has his own business. I think what helps him the most really is how many people he approaches, men and women alike. I became friends with a well-known machine learning scientist I admire at the extrovert's birthday party, he said they met in a frickin mechanic shop waiting room...
He's the guy who knows everyone, has like 8000+ connections on LinkedIn. Always hanging out with friends, going out whenever possible. A genuine, wholesome AMOG who always keeps his word and respects good people.
He constantly tries to connect with the strangers around him in a very confident manner, he says whatever is on his mind, cracking a joke here and there, while usually still keeping it classy. He's a man who's bigger than life. I would say his behavior is very similar to RSDTyler, except better.
[–]DayvyT 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Thats awesome, and I'd agree thats what everybody, at least every pickup artist, should strive for. However it comes a lot more effortlessly to some than others. I bet most people couldn't turn it on like its a switch.
I agree with you if your if your general point is that green tea probably isn't the solution that will work, and instead you have to have a strong innergame
[–]CarlCarlton 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely. Inner game is key not just to women, but everything else. My friend's main focus never was women in the first place, but rather all people in general.
[–]Handsome_Claptrap 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I would like to add more about "stop feeding junk to you brain", it's only a biochemical thing, it's also more abstract.
If you are on reddit, you are probably subscribed to subs like funny, gifs, memes, whatever. All of them are just brain junk.
You don't only need physical relax, but also mental relax. If you study or have a job that engages your brain, then you get home and spend your free time on reddit and videogames, you are constantly exerting your brain, giving it no time to truly rest, all of this while filling it of things that you don't really need, it's stuff that ends on itself.
Gaming is expecially dangerous because it involves focus, memory, quick reaction times and so on, it's highly demanding on your brain. Reddit is also bad because it makes you constantly jump from topic to topic.
Exercise is great because it tires your body, but rests your mind. You can't exercise all day, so try to have some TRULY relaxing habits.
Meditating is awesome for this, taking a walk is also very fine, listening to music or reading are good because they require less brainpower and make you stay focused on a single topic for long.
Declutter your brain. A messy brain makes everything harder.
This doesn't mean you should ditch reddit, gaming or whatever. You can clean your reddit subscriptions and stick to actually useful subs, that can help you in everyday life, you can also put a time limit to reddit and gaming, plus you an train your brain o be les jumpy by not hopping on Facebook, Instagram or reddit whenever you have a minute of downtime. Take that minute to look out the window and relax.

[–]sailor-jackn 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes. You have to act like a man; confident, secure, strong, and dominant.
[–]VDKay 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Personally, I think moderation in everything is key. These habits are indeed good, but it's perfectly OK if you don't overdo it. You don't need to cut-off porn, but if you watch porn, like 2 hours a day, you do need to reduce it because yes, porn has some bad effects on your brain plus you are spending 2 hours doing nothing! But then again, equally bad is also abstinence (sexual frustration, repressed sexuality, etc.). Same with others. It is perfectly OK to drink a cup of coffee with half spoonful of sugar per day. It makes you alert and tones your nervous system (especially after lunch). However, if you have 5 cups of coffee and caffeinated soft-drinks a day and you can't sleep well, then, yes, you may need to cut back on it a bit. Moderation.
For me, I see like 10% people living with these kinds of extremes in their life and doing OK, but I see the other 90% who live in moderation (who also enjoying small "sins"), and they do pretty OK as well. Of course, everything is a matter of personal preference and what actually works for you, but every time I talked with people on-line or in real-life, I came to believe that all these extremes were only means of "over-compensation". They are like "I am not doing well with girls. It must be my not-yet-perfect body. I'll hit the gym every single day from now on and cut off sugar and fat", or "It must be all that brain fog from caffeine and processed foods that I can't communicate well with people". No buddy, you are just circle-jerking around the problem which is essentially to go fucking talk to people constantly. And when they do talk to just one girl and she turns them down, they are like "see?! see?! I told you I am not perfect yet!". Bullshit man! You are just finding excuses to crawl back to your man-cave and isolate yourself from the uncomfortable (yet so necessary) feeling of rejection.
[–]MetalPandaDance 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Oh okay. BTW what's the source for your claim that porn reduces grey matter? Never heard that before.
literally from the article, he's linked
" Alternatively, it could be a precondition that makes pornography consumption more rewarding."
also
"Future investigations should compare groups of individuals diagnosed as having pornography addiction with individuals who are not addicted to identify whether the same brain regions are involved. We anticipate this line of research will yield valuable insights into the question of whether pornography addiction is on a continuum with normal pornography use or should be treated as a distinct category."
and
"Individuals with lower striatum volume may need more external stimulation to experience pleasure and might therefore experience pornography consumption as more rewarding, which may in turn lead to higher PHs. Future studies should investigate the effects of pornography longitudinally or expose naïve participants to pornography and investigate the causal effects over time to provide further evidence for the proposed mechanism of intense exposure to pornographic stimuli, resulting in a downregulation of the reward system"
this guy spouts off a ton of pseudoscience but has no ability to back his claims and when he sources something it is contrary to his claims
[–]49_1 -2 points-1 points0 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
that just sounds like you are trying to justify watching porn. i hear it a lot from men who visit prostitutes. "oh i pay for prostitutes because you pay for a relationship anyway and it has no drama" or "visiting prostitutes made me realize how sex isn't special" like okay dude, but you are still lonely and alone.
i mean if you truly believe that porn is beneficial in that way, then live your life. but realistically and most often it doesn't work like that for most people.

.....you will naturally develop enough confidence and self-esteem, and feel good enough to have a very healthy dating/social life.
We frequently have guys posting here about how they got fit and are still spinning their wheels. And most notably, show terrible inner game still. I have seen this sort of thing play out in person, watching as people got fit, regular exercise, the whole nine yards, yet still they shot themselves in the foot. One guy in particular that I knew for years, I watched unintentionally turn down a girl he really wanted to date when she asked him out, all when he was at the peak of fitness.
In contrast, one of the biggest players I ever saw, was a chronically overweight, wall-eyed dude with an overbite who pulled off some of the most ridiculous game I have ever seen. Picked up on a girl while they were driving separate cars on the freeway. Picked up on a stripper at work. Poached his roommate's blind date while he was napping waiting for her to arrive.
This is like the eternal debate about whether it's inner game or outer game. And it's pointless because we're talking about something that's necessary, but NOT sufficient alone to do the job.
Here's the real answer. Fitness is important. You ought to take care of the body you have because it's the only damn one you get. But make no mistake, fitness alone does NOT absolve anyone of whatever inner game battles they have to fight. And one can certainly win those inner game battles and start gaming, before they're "fit."

I agree 100% with what you said. Although I think a lot of people will read this as an excuse to focus on themselves and inner game. While this is always good, you need BOTH inner and outer game to be successful. Inner game is helpful in taking care of yourself and an important part of growth and being more centered and mature. Understanding yourself is very important in developing social intelligence.
Outer game is a skill set that is inherently social and must be PRACTICED. You need to interact with a lot of people (mainly hot girls) to be able to develop into a more attractive guy. No amount of inner game is going to help you, if it's all you do, or even if that's the main thing you focus on. The 2 MUST be balanced. Inner and outer.
EDIT; I don't think inner game is hard to focus on for most guys on this sub, as we tend to be more analytical, etc. Outer game is often where they need practice. Speaking from experience, it's often hard for guys lacking in social intelligence to understand where they are lacking because they don't even know what they are doing wrong. Doing game accelerates the process of understanding as you get much more painful negative feedback. If you are motivated enough and stick with it, you can learn.

Well... speak louder can definitely help! I think that is super important. But ya, I agree. There is a lot of bullshit posted here about what you "should" say, etc. Which makes it even more important to go out and try stuff for yourself. See what works, etc. Nobody can tell you how to socialize over the internet. You have to just do it. But no amount of self reflection and inner game will help you either.
"as long as it doesn't have anything to do with any kind of social engineering/manipulation or tactics"
So much of our interactions are based on that though, not just in seduction. It's a little naive to think these should be eliminated from intersexual dynamics. That being said, one can still strive to maintain some form of ethical behavior and remain true to themselves. And also try to create win-win situations to the best of their abilities.
[–]ethical_pa 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
it's a common problem. we just want something from everyone else. if we can fix this and be more selfless, it would naturally greatly improve your dating life as well because women won't feel so used
Haha. You are coming at this based on the assumption that women aren't equally part of the problem. Remember pickup 101? White knight, pedestal, etc ;)
Women are human and equally as guilty and flawed as we are in this whole affair. Having the mindset that becoming a better person will improve your dating life is flawed and will likely lead to disappointment. You should definitely strive for that, but for yourself though. It likely will make you more attractive in general. But don't be surprised if the girl (who you thought you had such a connection with and was such a princess) goes home with the guy who DGAF, was super fun, pumped her emotions, and gave off the vibe of being sexually uninhibited.
BTW: I mostly teasing, as I don't know anything about you. Just being devil's advocate and writing with the average guy in mind.
[–]Evening_Description 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This guy is confused, he took a wrong turn somewhere and wants this to be a general selfhelp subreddit. It's basically a "just bee yourself!" mindset but you add self improvement into the mix and women will magically like you. Which everyone who's ever done pick up knows is all bullshit.

What you say about krill oil is not true.
[–]Olaipai 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well, as stated by your links (blog as a source?) - More research is needed for a conclusion on whether it actually is "better" or not along with human study. 1 study done with rats isn't enough.
Bioavailability in rats doesn't accurately translate to humans with a proper balanced diet. Need researtch with the former mentioned group and how about a test group with a mediocre/poor diet?
Just follow your list, ditch the krill oils and eat more fatty fish or just fish in general. Sea food is great! Way better than gulping down pills. Ditch the unnaturals and add through proper food and nutriton!
Either way, it is a good way of living!
[–]Yegelle 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Krill oil is not proven better than omega 3-oils from salmon or cod. Anyway, I agree with your list. Scientists has shown that people who suffer from mental problems has low levels of healthy fat in their body, so there could be a link between amount of healthy fat mental well beeing.
But from an environmental perspective krill oil is not recommended to purchase. The krill industry is getting a lot of critique in Norway, and most people here eat fish or the omega 3 from a cod fish called Skrei - a fish that has krill on its diet.

Idk why the hell reddit subscribed me to this sub, but every single post here sounds like it was made by the jacked 32yr old that works at a gas station who still wears Converse, Jerseys, and Snapbacks everywhere they go.
Aside from that, your healthy advice isn't wrong in any way but the "avoid" stuff is totally dependent on the individual. Anything and everything is bad in excess. Caffeine is in green tea, Terry Crews binges on all that sugar/processed good shit on his cheat day, and porn can control a person or enhance a couple's sex life.
Here I thought this sub was for kinks. Lmao.

You're fucking cringy. It's not that self-improvement tips are bad and is not included in the overall field of pick up and seduction. But you're a human manifestation of garbage tabloid science tips that will amount to fuck all.
You will learn more from any random RSD video than this. The guys that do PUA shit has done a lot of the shit you're trying to do, but they did it well and they also broke down man to woman interactions alongside it. So, how many new girls you have had sex with in the last three years? If you follow all of this and your number is less than 50 then all of this unrelated to seduction or pickup. How to get girls - develop social skills, your looks and approach a lot. The higher your skills, looks and the more girl you approach (either IRL or online) - the more girls you will get. Everything else wouldn't give you even 10% of it.
Also it doesn't make much sense what "porn makes you needy". People become needy not because they want sex, but because they want validation. If you want to be in a state in which you don't care about getting sex then just fap. Most guys wouldn't want to have sex if they already orgasmed recently. But of course it wouldn't work. Because neediness isn't about being horny.

Hey man and I wanted to respond to this. Ive been going to the gym regularly 3-5 days a week for the last year put on some muscle look much better than before, still have a way to go, cut out caffeine 6 months ago and I have ZERO attention from women. I'm still depressed, still a fool. My confidence did go up and I'm still friendly and try to talk to women in general not hitting on them and I'm still alone. Your advice doesn't always work but it does help a lot of guys.

Don't really watch porn, drink rarely and my life is still shit. My entire life I've had some bullseye of don't be interested in that man. I don't know how I could further make myself better other than finding a good job and nor being depressed and frustrated with my life.

Yeah that was my post. It's not even necessarily thought all I want is a woman but every section of my life that matters is going shitty. Career shit, friends/social life nope, sex/dating nope, health good/mentally bad. I'm not actively chasing women but you would expect after a year of hard work a girl would say you look great, or you're a good guy or invite me to a party etc. It's as if there is no progression in my life. It's been on a decline for years and everytime I try to improve it the decline accelerates. I enjoy games, film etc but I can't pursue that as a career I can't even find a stable decent paying 9-5 and honestly women aren't after men who like video games. Also the way my life is going the hobbies and passions are losing their effect and can't distract me from how shitty everything is. The best way I can put it is I'm in a big dark room every time I try to light a match it goes out and sometines I get a punch to the guy. No light and no indication of getting out of the darkness

Is weed included in this list? I’ve been having incredible difficulty approaching even though I’ve done it 8 times now. Nothing bad happened. They were all great interactions that taught me much about what I need to work on but MY FUCKIN BODY just won’t stop caring what other people think. I’ve improved every aspect of my life with gym and kick boxing. I just got some god forsaken reason have this incredible flight response and I don’t understand what to do anymore. I tell myself “I’m gonna die old and lonely if I don’t” “I’m doing a disservice to her by not approaching” but every time I go to do it. MY BODY just turns away.
I think the answer to my question is practice practice practice. But I mentally can’t push myself to practice because of my limiting beliefs. It’s fucked. After reading Models, the rational male, under cover sex signals and the natural. I KNOW the interaction will go well during my day game approaches. But I still for some god forsaken can’t do it. Please help.

You need to learn to control the mind. Buddhism is a good way to learn this. Your problem is something called the abiding place of the mind. If you do not control your mind, it will wander to negative places and create ridiculous unfounded scenarios of an impending disaster.
A good example. A few years after my father was killed my mother started going to singles dances with other ladies that were widows. She would invite me along. There was always a belt ( like the rings of Saturn ) of guys standing around , drink in hand, watching everyone dance hoping a woman would ask them to dance. They were too scared of rejection to dance.
They had no control of their minds ( you have to shut that inner conversation up ) and their minds would go to an assumption that they would get turned down if they asked someone to dance. They had no reason to think this. Hell, it’s a singles dance. That’s what people were there for. But, it would snowball because they wouldn’t reign in their minds. The assumption that they would be rejected would grow into an assumption that they would face derision and embarrassment because of this assumed rejection. Again, unfounded. If s woman did turn them down you just say ok thanks anyway and ask someone else. No big deal. It’s not like you are asking them to marry you. But, because these guys did not control their mind, the whole thing became a huge surefire disaster, in their minds.
On the other hand, I would go get a drink, walk around and check out all the women and then go ask the prettiest woman I could find if she wanted to dance. I would end up dancing with pretty women all night. I did get turned down once. Not by the hot Asian girl I was asking to dance but, by her girlfriend who was sitting next to her. She was very aggressively territorial. How was I supposed to know, right?
On the other hand, I also had a number of women ask me to dance because they had already seen me dancing with pretty women, and, once, I was dancing with a girl that had danced with me the previous week and this beautiful Brazilian girl cut right in and stole me from her.
There is absolutely nothing to fear. The fear is in your head. There is no reason to assume women will reject you. And, if one does, it’s not like your asking her to marry you. You only asked her out on a date. It’s no big deal. Handheld it gracefully and move on to someone else.
There is an old joke that my dad told me, having to do with this:
Two guys are walking down the street. Every time a pretty woman walks by the one guy says ,“ hey babe, do you want to fuck?” Each time he’d get slapped in the face. After four times of this, the other guy says to him “ I bet you get slapped a lot”; which he replied,” yeah, but, I get fucked a lot, too.”
Stop your inner voice, control your mind. Don’t let your mind get stuck on these kinds of unfounded assumptions. Open your mind to possibilities and realize that, whatever happens, it will be alright. It won’t be a huge disaster.

Thank you so much for this. It seems my earlier comment didn’t go through. I’ve started taking more risk in my life. Whenever I see a cute girl, no matter what state or condition I am in, I just approach. You never know what will happen but it’s worth finding out. I also coincidentally watched a lot of videos about rejection and why I shouldn’t take it personally and just move on. Your comment resonated with me deeply and I will apply it. Thank you stranger on the internet 😁

Wow thank you so much. This is exactly what I needed. Just one question. Today I saw a really cute girl in my restaurant (I own the place). Is it still acceptable for me to ask them out or “approach” and try to connect with them? I had just finished a hardcore kick boxing session and in sweat pants. Do any of these things matter? Do I always have to have the best outfit on at all times when I’m approaching?

Porns actually the worst habit I used to have ever. Kills all sexual drive and fucks with you. Become content with life, and that the biggest mistake you can make: always gotta strive for more, whether that's in terms of girls, career or whatever.

I built scrapers for most dating websites (I’m a programmer) and I go out to bars on weekends to talk to girls. I haven’t gotten a single phone number yet. I’ll make a post on this sub if I get laid / find a girlfriend any time soon, but for now I’m on a dry spell and it sucks the soul out of me at night when I’m in bed.

Very true, been applying the same for months. It’s enough to change your personality and vision in life, recover your natural unconscious game and enough curiosity, bravery to be social, friendly and full of energy. There is no way this recipe won’t work unless you are cheating too much.
Though I’d add: constant self improvement, you have to do more than just eating right and lifting. You need to maintain a sense of achievement

I totally agree! Working out especially makes my mood feel a lot better but by improving your diet is the key to changing your body. Not saying you have to eat 100% clean all the time but a good balance. Porn (reduces gray matter in the brain,
just want to address this.
the only 1 study (that hasn't been retested since 2014) that found this only found less grey matter with excessive watching of porn. Also there is no indication that more porn means less grey matter in specific areas of the brain or people with less grey matter in that area are more likely to watch excessive amounts of porn.
please don't say stupid 3rd hand science that hasn't even been verified in their own field.

you are making a lot of assumptions I'm gonna clear up for you, and since you seem to have an issue with anything remotely complex ill break it down for you in simple easy to understand terms.
a) i don't watch a lot of porn (typically less than an hour a week)
b) i didn't say that porn isn't often an issue for people (when it is the literature indicates it's an unhealthy relationship with porn rather than porn itself)
c) I wasn't addressing all of your points I specifically wanted to mainly address your one claim about grey matter
d) the literature you posted about grey matter and porn was 1 study that said they have no idea WHY the lower grey matter in certain regions in the brain are linked with porn and that it may be that lower grey matter in that region CAUSES you to watch more porn rather than vice versa as you claim. or it could be something completely else and that they dont have a causal relationship at all.
d) my ego has nothing to do with this you just can't read simple English and are conflating notions with my intentions.
e) the study on grey matter and porn also indicates that it is likely that there is a divide between porn watchers and porn addicts and there needs to be more research done to determine what constitutes addict (they suggest over 2 hours a week regularly may be a good definition) maybe you're a porn addict which is why you have an unhealthy relationship with it and harms your life. Many people don't have that problem.

Agree totally I would add just to see what type of food does what to your body Don't eat anything for 2 days just live on water let your body flush out the waste and snap you out of the reality that this food has made you gone through. After that try eating what you eat the most slowly and be aware what it makes you feel. If the food makes you tired 1st then gives you energy later it's the bad food for body and brain. Also after that meal don't eat anything and see how much time it stays in your body. For this you have to be really really aware the whole day. If it stays in your body for more than 12 hours then it affects your body in really bad way. It fuck up you sleep pattern every singal day. If you stomach has anything in it before sleep, it causes inertia in you body, just for litmus test if you wake up really tired and kink in your eyes, you should stop eating that food. Meat, beef or any other type of fles food stays in the body for 24-36 hours depending upon if it's raw, cooked or fried, and body temperature is 37 degrees. Try to put meat in 37 for 24 hours and see what happens to it, that's happening in your body. Best thing you can eat - honey it takes half an hour to full go through human system and it's the only substance on the planet that's formation is closest to human blood so make it as the culture. Just keep experimenting and don't ask from your toung what it wants, ask from body what it wants. If you keep following this you will start becoming more concious, more alert, your brain will start functuing way better and slowly you will start being at ease all the time. Only the 1st part is the hardest I.E being aware of what food does to you and start ignoring what the toung wants. Hope it helps Thanks

I'm doing what you say that will "naturally help you" , all the things from exercise (4 times a week, have now a lot of muscles), to stop watching porn (it happens only once in a while, and i think it is very natural to jerk off sometimes).
Results? Zero.
Let's be realistic. What you said is good for everyone but it cannot help mentally anyone. All those things are only a little brick in a whole wall to by built before being successful with woman.
I personally was way better with women when: i didn't care about food (now i follow and iper-proteic diet, low on carbs and fats), i didn't mind to watch some porn 3 or 4 times a week (now i reduce it to one at most), i didn't spent any time on my body.
What does it mean? That the "game" is only a mental skill and there is nothing that help you in absolute way. Some things are good for any men and women, like making some fitness or have a good diet, but that are things minimally related with improving confidence and skills in "game".
So i'm really tired to read those type of post here, you all seem super experts, but in reality you could only provide minimal suggestion, and mostly things that are generally good and healthy for any kind of men, so really not too much related to seduction.
