The US and UK underwent a massive social revolution after ww1. the explosion of drinking culture, flappers, the emancipation of women in a million ways etc. this was the real start of the "sexual revolution", not the 60s. the 60s brought the sexual revolution to fruition after a brief post ww2 hiatus. the "free love" movements and womens liberation movements ARE western civilization, they arent alien movements that dropped out of the sky onto mayonaisse people and "degenerated" their culture.

the objection to how "we date now" expressed on these boards is so BLATANTLY arising from non-western peoples who did NOT go through the 100 year psychological disinhihibition and cultural emancipation that the west did that it beomes laughable to read. the inability to ascertain the CULTURAL background of the peopel postin makes it easy to assume everyones just western because were all speaking english (caveat, theres a little US mayo post religious revival christian horror in there as well)

these foreign kids come here FOB, are not prepared for he WESTERN SMP by their families (who from what i understand keep them in a veal pen of SAT tutoring and music lessons) and are then unleashing into the thriving WESTERN college hookup dating scene only to be appalled, fail, and be CULTURALLY disgusted by it

This is what the big beef on TRP and is also the big beef between TBP and TRP. TBP is largely ANGLOSCANDI umc college people who are leading perfectly normal mayonaisse UMC lives and living in the perfectly normal western post sexual revolution dating scene being horrified by/laughing at the hilarious over the top foreign reaction of TRPs to western culture
