Just another reason why I don’t go clubs anymore

Besides the influx of pick up artist morons approaching me at the end of the night

At best stick to open space classy bars with a more chilled environment (like rooftop bars), you’re more aware of what’s going on & the door men tend to be more tough with who they let in due to reputation. Broke drunk scrotes that like to harass & fight won’t be tolerated long or struggle to get in, in the first place. That’s the only reason I’ll go to them.

But loud noisy dark clubs full of broke losers trying to grab my arm or possibly finance bro’s on coke at best- no thanks.

They can’t get away with being on coke/ being too drunk or harassing women & starting fights in a fancy open rooftop bar long. They care more about their business reputation than that individual scrote. People start to notice faster & tell the doorman. They get chucked out.

Do we need to go out with hidden cameras attached to our outfit?

Women have recently reported being spiked by injection in nightclubs. Although attention was first brought to this in one city, additional reports of spiking and assault this way were then corroborated across other cities in the UK - and I'm sure it happens across the world, too.

Be so, so careful out there ladies. They're always finding new ways to target us. If you're going out, make sure you and your friends look out for each other. It's absolutely disgusting and exhausting that we'd even have to go to such lengths to protect ourselves, but here we are.

Some guy posted on Twitter some basic steps( that we ladies already know) about being safe. People got mad at him because women are already taking way more precautions yet rapist and abusers will invent another way to hurt women. Society should focus on the predators and give capital punishment for rape. For the love of God start making it a stigma when a man gets entitled to our bodies( harassment, rape). I’m so sick of being prey to the other gender! I’m sick of them trying to hurt us.

Thanks for posting this OP. I was just venting because I’m tired of the hurt we face.

My daughter was spiked in her first week of living in a city. She ended up in A&E, luckily no harm done.

I spoke to a female friend about it, I made some comment about “bloody men getting away with this shit” and have been NAMALTed by her ever since. The very act of pointing out that this is absolutely male behaviour, male depravity, is apparently worse that young women being spiked in the first place.

The lengths that people go to defend this behaviour is disturbing.

Once I realized the purpose of bars and clubs was to make women available for men, they lost a lot of their fun. I wish there could be an all-female club that is not necessarily gay (obviously there’s a need for lesbian clubs too, but I can see why straight women don’t need to be there).

These places are scrote wastelands. Have not been to any club, party, drinking scene etc in years; I’ve never drank but every time I went it was always some scrote being creepy and getting angry I don’t want to dance with them

I know that my uni and many others across the UK have had female students fall victim to this recently. I even heard of someone getting HIV from the needle used to spike them, but I don’t know the validity of it yet. Still, it’s a very real possibility.

There’s many nights assigned to “boycott” the clubs across the country (basically women won’t go clubbing on those nights) and a government petition to check everyone upon entry at a club (which in my city rarely happens and when it does it’s women’s bags being checked, not mens and I know of other cities where there’s no search or anything at all for anyone).

Apparently, before covid, the "new" club fad was FUCKING IDIOTS dropping tear bombs on people dancing. Please google tear gas in nightclubs, I did it in several languages and there are articles in many countries. I was living abroad and my roommates back then warned me that it started being common in that area.
