What is your opinion if a guy doesn't initiate sex even though he enjoys being with you giving you kisses and cuddles but isn't thirsty for the sex?

I'm not sure if you mean he doesn't initiate but when you do he's ok with it, or you haven't had sex at all

If it's the first scenario, it can be a bit annoying of course, but it he shows afterwards he finds the sex with you exciting and passionate, I guess there might be ways to work around this.

If it's the second, there might be many factors influencing it. You haven't mentioned your age and his so he might be too young and inexperienced, or of a certain age and with performance issues. Or he might be a virgin. Or have religious beliefs preventing him. Or a STD. Or a very bad previous relationship. Or he might be embarrassed about something in his body, including penis size. Or might be worried about a possible pregnancy.

As always the best thing is to ask.

For the first couple of weeks or months I would find it charming and enlightened. After maybe 2 months I would wonder what the hell is wrong with him that he doesn’t want sex - does he have a girlfriend or wife I don’t know about? A venereal disease he is waiting to clear up? Erectile dysfunction? After 3 months or so I’d probably decide we don’t want the same things and bail.

I don't really care and probably wouldn't notice so long as he wants and enjoys it when I initiate. I generally operate under a system of the person with the lower sex drive asking for it so it's not constantly turned down though, so if that's him and he won't let me know when he's down that'd get annoying and I'd wonder why he didn't speak up.

I would be happy. As a low sex drive woman who hates to reject people and see how disappointed I made them cause I didn’t wanted to have sex with them in less than 3 dates, yeah I would love to be the one to initiate, cause it would probably be like...once in a full moon anyway and I wouldn’t have to be the one to constantly reject my partner and then feel like shit afterwards cause they got disappointed. And if he said yes each time I initiated or well was into it after I initiated it (not that he can’t say no ofc) then there would be no pressure and I could do it when I was in the mood (ofc only if he is as well)

Man, I'm totally content with this. I have to check my ego at the door sometimes and realize that my worth is not my sex to give and just because someone isn't initiating the act with me, doesn't mean they don't like me. To combat this societal standard I simply make sure the person is attracted to me with verbal confirmation. "Are you attracted to me? Are you happy in this relationship? Do I fulfill you enough in other regards that sex isn't your number one concern?" Etc.

It can all be happy and healthy as long as everyone agrees to the terms of service.

Most girls would assume you weren't interested in them sexually if you took 6 months to escalate to sex. They might assume you're gay, inexperienced, or not attracted but they all would lead to her feeling rejected and then rejecting you.

Even just 1 date where sex could happen and not going for it could be your final date with her. As a guy you should always be leading things forward in a fun way she'll enjoy but respect her boundaries as you discover them.

Thats completely fine. A man doesnt have to initiate at all. Youd just have to ask when its an appropriate time for you to initiate etc. Never force anyone to do anything. If it becomes an issue later. Simply discuss it and arrange things. Maybe try to increase libido. Maybe compromise.
