I seriously don’t think most women are cruel, but with that being said, a lot of terrible people exist. That means women as well, however a lot of people will try to defend themselves by calling you the asshole for calling them out on being terrible to other people on purpose, including women that will be assholes to men but label you as terrible for even bother to call them out or if the reverse happens, or will try to spin it around to make it seem like you did something wrong in the first place, hence why you get called sexist and whatnot despite the fact the that you defended yourself. So yes like with dating or double standards in body shaming, or even worse. Again I think you need to find more woman to hang out with that don’t have these beliefs like on body shaming men, otherwise you’ll end up just like the same women that label most or all men as evil, or other dudes who do the same thing.

People in general learn from consequences. Men can't get away with being cruel all the time to other men because eventually someone will put them in their place. If the same happens to a women then everyone around will defend her and make them feel their treatment was in fact unjust even if it wasn't. Society treats women far different then it treats men and consequences are rarely seen when women act cruelly to men and sometimes it's even encouraged by people around.

There are shitty men, you just don't experience them as much because they can't get away with being shitty to you as easily as women can. Men can be really shitty to women, they just don't get away with it often in a crowd of people. Men just need to be away from society to get away with it, while women can do it out in front of everyone. It doesn't mean that there are more shitty women, just that they are more visible.

As a young guy (teenager, from 12-18), I was widely known as one of the "kinder" & more "caring" guys. I was by no means a "simp" or anything like that & I definitely wasn't a "male feminist" (although to be fair, I only really starting to understand what "feminism" even meant/represented when I was about 20), but I wasn't the "assertive" or "dominant" kind of guy. I was, and still am to a degree, pretty agreeable (especially for a man). I tried to please others, and again, to a degree, I still do. I don't mind helping others without getting anything in return necesarilly. It's just the way I am.

But what did that get me? At best, the girls thinking I was "cute" but in a very "friend zone" kind of way. At worst, "boring". Luckily, I was never labelled a creep or anything of that sort (well, at least not by women who know me... I've definitely had my fair share of female strangers look at me with fear or contempt for the crime of walking behind them because we happened to be heading in the same direction, or seeing them take their keys between their fingers when they're alone at night and I have to cross them, even though I frequently did my best to not appear like a threat or like I was "stalking" them)... but too often, I felt like I was being treated as a "loser". Sure, I was generally "liked" by most & had decent relationships with both the "cool kids" and the "alternative" ones, but I mean "loser" specifically in the sense that when it really came down to it, I was invisible to them. To be fair, as a teenager, I was a very late bloomer. I am 6'2 now, but at 15 years old, I was barely over 5' & extremely skinny (16-ish BMI). I was tiny, thin & unlike the other boys, I showed no real signs of puberty. Even if my personality was peak level chad, it wouldn't really have mattered because girls wouldn't have looked at a twig like me anyway.

Over the years though, I saw women treat me(n) less with indifference (which I can take) and more & more with contempt. Cruelty. Anger. Hate even. And after all this time, I would be lying if I said it didn't make me a whole lot more bitter & cold. It absolutely did.

You can only stay "nice" for so long to people who treat you like garbage. Again, I don't expect anything in return for my help or kindness necesarilly (in fact, I really don't buy into that type of "I give you something, you give me something" mindset AT ALL). I like & enjoy helping others. Makes me feel useful. But instead of "indifference" I get figurative spit in my face. Like yeah, at this point, I've frequently thought "fine, then figure it out yourself. Really want my help when it's convenient? Nah, go fuck yourself".

I'm by no means a MGTOW & I really don't subscribe to this "cut women out" mentality. I'd love to be a part of their lives as they would be part of mine... but I just can't stand their hostility. Obviously "not all", but FAR too many, and it DEFINITELY feels like most. Or at least when it comes to young(er) women.

Because society raises young women to think about themselves and what is best for them and tells them they deserve everything and that they shouldn't have to work for it. Where as society raises young men to be selfless think about others and that they need to give everything they can to other people. So there is a huge disconnect between the genders and the one that expects everything to be given to them gets really angry at the other gender that is supposed to provide everything to them, doesn't.

We were introduced into responsability since our childwood, that we were to protect our mother and sisters. We were to respect, to care, to love. And we do. We don´t beat women!!! We don´t beat our wifes. We work hard to support our families only to hear that women are "slaves" and that we must do more domestic work, so... we work some more, then. If we have a bad wife, we support her for her entire life and our kids. One day we ask for divorce because we don´t stand any longer. Then we must pay a big sum to our wife due to parenthood, and not always the right of spending time with our kids is respected.

Only this morning we took out a foreign couple to a local tourist attraction. All the operators of the attraction used to be men because the work requires strength. Today there was one woman manning the box office. After we bought the tickets I asked her politely how long we'd have to wait. She seemed irritated by the question and snapped something along the lines of ' you'll go when it is your turn'. A man then approached me and he told me 'You won't wait longer than 15 minutes.'

Because of that, I give him all the respect, kindness, nurturing, love, safety to express all his emotions, and devotion he deserves. In return, he loves, protects, sees me, takes care of me and is devoted to me for life. It is real and it's out there. Had similar experience like you, met many many bad women in my life and it sure made it harder for me to sympathise with them or not have controversial thoughts about them. Mate, it happens because you are not on the top percentile of men. Those are loved and put on a pedestal. This will happen until the men stop putting every woman on a pedestal and start treating them just the way they treat other men. Many men go the extra mile for random women, that's why they've become entitled. Because society has normalized cruelty, just as society has ostracized kindness. Sex is a negotiation, payable in whatever tender is acceptable, while love is a scarce commodity. At my age, I've given up on romantic love. I don't have the resources or inclination to pursue a life with a woman beyond friendship. Younger men see the way their elders are treated, and have decided to lay down, that is, not feed the system, not support a woman, and just live their own lives (outside of family and friends), alone.

Like anything human nature is often to get away with whatever we can, so women have been told for a very long time now they are perfect and wonderful even if they are a waste of space and jobless feckless lazy and generally have no redeeming features they are still told they are amazing.

As a result a lot of (not all) women are very entitled and feel it's their right to treat guys like garbage as a result of them being told how wonderful they are.

It's also become fashionable to belittle men, I watched a tv panel show on UK TV called loose women and they were reading a story about a spurned woman who cut off her boyfriends dick and they were laughing about it on morning TV.

Now imagine a panel show with guys and reading a story about a woman who'd been mutilated in a similar way and they were laughing and joking about it, they'd never work again.

So I've rambled a little but essentially this is why women feel it's okay.

English is not my native language. For instance, among American millennials, 15-30% men are involuntary celibate, roughly 51% do not have a steady partner, roughly 30% are often or always lonely, and roughly 22% have no friends.

Many men thinks that the game is rigged, and after multiple failed attempts just gives up and decides to put their energy into hobbies, learning new skills, traveling and so on.
Because mastering a new skill is more fruitful to many than wasting time, energy and money into something that many men sees as fickle.

They also perceive that as more safer,- there are no risk of false accusations ( ref J. Depp he luckily has the money to afford to defend himself, lawyers are not cheap! ), a unfair law system, social factors, a lack of services for male victims of domestic violence are also contributing factors.

So when low quality males make attempts, they have this strong instinct to repel these advances. If a high quality male observes that she is entertaining low quality males, then it might discourage a high quality male from making an advance because she’s, by entertaining low quality males, may be ‘taken’ or low quality herself. Basic women put a lot of emphasis on height. As they mature (or become more desperate), it becomes less important.

So it’s an evolutionary response type thing. If you’re a insecure person, you’ll take it personally. Build yourself up to the point where these basic women are just tossed into the wind. Your pool of women is definitely smaller by being shorter than average, but you can’t let that discourage you or risk letting these basic women define your worth. Grow into something where your height just becomes irrelevant. I’m sure Tom Cruise can pull whatever woman he wants even at his age right now and being 5’5” or whatever. You’re unfortunately playing this game on hard mode (or at least harder than average). Just accept that and work on the things you can control.

As a short guy, I can say you're right on the money. I'm 5'4" and have a big, ugly broken nose. Some women out there have made comments about my appearance and said I was disgusting or gross when I wasn't even paying them any attention. For this reason I don't like going outside. Sometimes wish women didn't exist and that the world was only inhabited by men. No man as ever insulted me because of my appearance.
