No, they're not too ugly. They're just generally overly sexual assholes with zero social skills.

I meet plenty of "average" men that I'd be willing to fuck or date. Most of the time they ruin it after a few hours or a few days by saying something fucking stupid or unnecessarily pushing boundaries.

For example. I went line dancing and got invited to a tailgate afterparty by the people I met there. I met a cute guy we talked on and off and he asked for my number before I left the party. He didn't flirt with me at all in person. When we met the conversation was VERY pleasant and just general conversation.

After 48 hours we planned a date and a little while afterwards he cheekily asks about my kinks. I answer, and he just would NOT let it go. No matter how much I tried to redirect the conversation, and even told him that I'm not interested in the discussion, he kept going and kept escalating. I blocked and ghosted him.

Typically this is my experience with most men. They act like brain dead porn addicts. It's trashy and frankly rage inducing. Even if I am interested in fucking them, they ruin it by failing to be attractive or sexy in any regard. They're just crude, vulgar, and gross. And there's an extra layer of them being pathetic because they only exhibit this kind of behavior behind a screen. In person they're decent people. Through text they're overly sensitive, overly sexual, toddlers with a hardon. It's extremely repulsive.

I read somewhere, that especially if you are at a place with a lot of users, the women just wont ever see the "average or below average men" (whatever that means), as the algorithms push other profiles forward, and you might be so at the end, that you almost never show up.

In your eyes you are a six. In some women's you are an 8. In others a 4. It's very subjective. You can't even get consensus here in this slice of the internet.

Maybe it's because Tinder has gotten under my skin, but Women on that app seem way to picky compared to real life.

You can't help who you are attracted to.

Also consider that many women might be about to swipe right because they like your photos and your interests, but then they notice a dealbreaker and swipe left instead.

For example, there were plenty of people I was attracted to on the apps but had to swipe left because they were smokers, or had children (I will only in rare exceptions date parents), or wanted a relationship (I only look for casual when on the apps).

That's not being 'picky' that's just not wasting people's time who you're not compatible with.

Everyone is different. I'd say my sisters are attracted to 1 out of every 4 men they see. Me personally it's more like 2 out of 4 or often 3 out of 4.

But someone not being 'ugly' is just one factor in me considering them for a date.

Tinder has a skewed male to female ration, so I wouldn't out a lot of hope on it. There are far more men than women, so you just have much higher competition than it is in real life.

I've never had casual and it isn't my cup of tea, so I won't comment on it, but LTR-wise I don't think I'd filter out the majority of men on their looks alone. There are far more things than that and most people are close to average looks-wise. If you have strict age requirement, you filter the majority of men interested in you just on it. Then you add compatibility, sexual attraction, proximity etc. and it's a miniscule of all people around you that you could date.

A lot of women would never hook up with a guy no matter how attractive he is. I'm so sorry you are experiencing this, I understand how soul crushing it can be when you feel like no one wants to be around you. I think anyone with self esteem issues should avoid dating apps like the plague. They are a business ment for making money not helping people. There are very few women not trying to make money on only fans left on dating sites at all.

Dating apps suck and tinder is the worst offender in my opinion. It’s all porn bots and scammers. Don’t let the dating apps get you down , you can see for yourself that you do just fine in real life which is what really matters.

And in my honest opinion as someone from a Latin background, I find the average American in general ugly. Men and women. Sorry to offend anyone but Americans just aren’t as concerned with how they present themselves compared to other cultures.

I wouldn't date or sleep with the majority of men or women. You can be good-looking and that doesn't mean people will automatically want to sleep with you or date you.

I hardly get any matches on Tinder since I'm an average Man, but I have slightly more success in real life when I'm out with friends on a night out, due to confidence, humor, charisma etc.

It's a lot more difficult to connect with people online. I know guys that aren't anything particularly impressive if you had to judge them based on their Tinder profile but they're very witty and charismatic in person. I'm a pretty social person, I like talking to people but conversations on Tinder were like pulling teeth for the most part. Not because those people are inherently boring, I met one of the guys I had been talking to in person a few months later through a friend and he was great in person, over chat we were both kind of struggling to express anything past basic get to know you questions.

Being on dating apps is like eating candy. It’s all sugar and no nutritional substance.

So you might look good in person, but your photos might be shitty or low effort, and that’s gonna turn some people off. If you have nothing in your bio or your bio is written badly, that’s gonna turn people off. Because there’s no direct way to hurt someone (not matching being an indirect way), people can zero in on the most minute of details and say “meh, next”.

I think for most men their base looks are fine but the vast majority look boring AF if all i have to judge off is photos. My interest perks 90 percent by vibe of whether I think our personalities will mesh, trying to pick up on that off a photo is hard. Some guys are just so comfortable in their own skin that you can feel it come through their photos, which is a nice feeling... the vast majority are not that guy. Most photos guys post give a vibe of... this is the photo i sent my grandma to hang in her living room... there is absolutely nothing about that which makes me interested in you as a potential sexual partner.

If you are attractive enough but there is a chance you will be boringnice i will avoid matching with you because the odds that I will have to let you down later are just too high. If you are a fun/ carefree person let that shit show.

I don’t think so! A lot of factors go into matching with someone.

I know I use a range of factors when swiping. If someone is too hot, I won’t swipe yes. Too much pressure.

If the profile is empty or “message me, I can’t see messages” or a link to social - that’s an automatic no.

Certain lifestyles. For me gym pics, pictures in coo uniform, some travel and club pics. No go.

If they wrote something funny in a profile or swipe first and say something, I’d consider.

Poly or open relationships, seeking casual - not for me.

So it’s not all pass/fail in terms of looks. It’s a whole profile that’s considered.

The majority of men aren't compelling enough to date or hookup with, completely removing looks from the equation.

Why am I hooking up with a stranger? The sex won't be good and he probably wouldn't even let me peg him.

Dating? Remove every guy in a relationship. Remove every guy who would ever want me to attend a Superbowl party or sporting event. Remove every guy 6+ years older than me. Tinder is really not a good thing to base anything off of. The overwhelming majority of users are men and many women are porn or bot accounts.

Physically the majority of men are not too ugly to date. But physical appearance isn't the only thing women consider in dating. On the other hand plenty of men have personalities that are too grotesque for any woman to want to associate with them.

I’m a bit out of the ordinary as I am an extremely sexually active woman who likes to have casual hook ups on a regular basis.

For me, there’s not really anyone who’s natural features are too ugly to me. But a bad clothing style really puts me off.

For me it’s a lot more about chemistry. If I have a naturally flowing conversation with someone I will probably have pretty good sex with them. If it’s awkward or I don’t find them interesting I would have to be really horny with no other options than them.

Anyone can become sexy in my eyes if they have a great personality. And I know there’s guys reading this right now thinking “that’s a lie”, but that’s how I personally feel.

Dude before i was in a relationship tinder was actually so easy and I’m average and short. Lately though it’s insane… I used to be able to at least get 1 or 2 dates a month and now I’m lucky if I even get a match once a month.

The conclusion: get off the apps, I know it’s hard but unless you live a super interesting life and document it all over social media, or unless you’re insanely good looking the apps are a joke now.

Looks don't matter as much as "the image of looks". That probably doesn't even make sense.

What I'm trying to say is that with the right style of photos, you can make yourself a much more appealing option.

It's very rare that I see someone I think is truly ugly. Most men are just neutral until they interact with me in a way that catches my attention. I do have a type though, and I guess a non-type (I don't like blond men or men with blue eyes). The latter is very rarely able to get out of "neutral" territory for me, but it has happened occasionally, and I still don't find them ugly per se.

In my personal experience, online women basically swipe left on nearly every man they see unless he's tall, handsome and buff. Everyone else ? Meaningless in every way. They don't even take the time to read your profile. It's all designed to make women feel good about ignoring men who aren't studs and that's the fault of the programmers for the dating app websites.

And any average looking ( or unattractive like me) guys would be better served by just deleting every dating app and leaving them to the tall hot studs who get 80% of the attention anyway. Why waste your time and effort to compete with 150 other guys anyway ? 150 guys who all look better than you lol

I say, forget it. Women have it so easy now.
