This was me 1000%. I’ve thought a lot about this. She had a perfect 10 of a body and made more money then me. And she was the one pressing marriage harder, and I think those things combined made me ignore all the red flags just hitting me over the head repeatedly. I thought I’d won the lottery. And ignored the craziness and emotional coldness and manipulation for along time. And really became about as beat down as one could be. I think she thought she married down and could do whatever and be assured I’d stand by her. But things change, I started making more money, she started drinking a lot and letting herself go. Those things that had captured me at first, went away. And all I was left with was being treated like a door mat and ignored, and zero sex by the end of it. I’m not going to say looks don’t matter anymore for me. But it’ll be only one factor, not the sole factor, in my future relationship decisions. I was young and shallow. Never again.

Mine was about an 8 when we met. The day we got married was the day she let herself go. Easily gained about 100-150 pounds and turned into a fat blob who sat on the couch and never wanted to do anything with the kids unless it involved drinking. Abused her adderall the entire time, and started losing her mind. Depression, bipolar meds, etc. The beginning of the relationship was pretty decent in bed. That all ended after we got married and turned into the most God awful sex I've ever had...when we did have it. I referred to it as having sex with a stuck pig. Thank God she is gone now.

Yeah I did fr 12 years then she cheated I called it quits right then and there worked on myself getting a business going quit my currant job sold the house and moved on then she started calling every day saying she wanted me back I said should it be the other way me deciding if I want you at all she started bringing me lunch to work and she would make cake enough for my crew of guy I ran . I think it’s a terrible idea to go for someone for their looks. It’s rare to find a beautiful 10 inside and out. Many quote on quote 10’s come with issues. In the beginning everything may seem fine, but wait a few years later, you might regret your decision!
