SO, we all know that one of RP's claims is that crying and showing emotion in front of a woman is 100% a turn-off and her attraction and often times respect for you goes out the window.

Now, we know that this isn't 100% true, but, I am truly wondering... are the cases when men are met with compassion and understanding upon showing this vulnerability, without using it as ammo for a future argument, just the exception?

Now, I have read Mark Manson's book, Models, about how vulnerability is important, but he doesn't talk about the kind of vulnerability I am referring to. He is referring to the type of vulnerability where you are 100% honest, he doesn't talk about crying during a sad part in a movie, or a sad song, or a hardship in life or the death of a loved one/pet. So that didn't help much.

I VERY often see, on various subs, how whenever this topic comes up, all the women will say that no, it's ok to be sad/vulnerable and cry, how when they were met with this situation they did this and that, which may very well be true, but there are also loads of comments from men who tell about how they got dumped, or ridiculed, or cheated on, or divorced, sometimes even after they were ASKED by their women to show this vulnerability.

So... what is really the truth? I haven't been able to find any study that tackled this topic, so I don't have any scientific data to base my opinion on... which is what I usually do with things like this, so I can rely as little as possible on anecdotes.
