It's a neutral trait. Not being jealous is a sign of confidence, but also a sign of low neuroticism, meaning low threat detection. This leads to being cheated on more than a high threat detection person would be cheated on, because they detect signs of infidelity early and end relationships or change controlling behavior/mate guarding efforts. But they also over-detect threats which is a pain in the ass for the partner and leads to lower relationship satisfaction.

I think it's better to acknowledge that we are all jealous to varying degrees and it's not about muting those thoughts and feelings but regulating them before they result in actions. Jealousy and mate guarding are a double edged sword, a tradeoff. Emotion regulation and resilience ("i know that i can always find someone else if it doesn't work out") are the ways to go. You cannot make sure to not be cheated on. You can only make sure you can regulate your emotions when it happens and have the resilience to bounce back from it quickly and without lasting damage.

The rest is mate guarding strategies to reduce chance of infidelity. Try to stick to the positive strategies and not the negative/controlling ones, as those have a high likelihood to result in relationship dissatisfaction and then infidelity or breaking up. Especially "low value partners" should not stick to cost-inflicting mate retention strategies.

If being jealous and controlling is such a woman's job, why have several high profile atheletes/rockstars/celebrities/movie stars gotten into domestic violence disputes? Jay-Z posturing with stupid bullshit doesn't change reality.

If dudes with more looks status and money than you by a multiplier of hundreds exhibit jealous behavior, that should tell you something.

Your statement doesn't even make sense. Without a healthy gut feel for "jealousy" you're not going to be able to detect a loyal woman anyway. From how she acts with male friends to just the 'help,' that "feminine trait" feeling will tell you far more than she ever will about her loyalty.

A good example:

Chatted recently with a woman in her mid 30s who was cute enough. She lied on her profile regarding her relationship intentions, i.e. she revealed she was polyamorous. She also lied on her profile regarding whether she had kids --- she had one (and not interested in any more). She then proceeded to talk about her current partner who was allegedly no longer interested in sex with her, when their relationship had "begun in sex." She also talked about how he allegedly wasn't masculine at all, and that she was bisexual and liked alternatively masculine men. (I am a very traditionally masculine man just from face and height alone).

She then talked about her toxically masculine ex-husband she was married to for 18 years. Who didn't let her have friends. And he was always suspicious.

Given her propensity for casual deception, "polyamory," entering into lusty hasty sexual relations with people of "all types," I'd say this dude was correct in his assessment of her. Won the biology game and got the child.

Everyone else gets nothing from her. No child. No loyalty. And likely a lot of lies.

I got the same feeling I'd get from any harlot when she interacted briefly with the staff asking for our drink order.

Feeling jealous != acting on that jealousy or doing anything beyond walking away.

I made up an excuse to cut the date short and ghosted her.
