I would suggest you let her bring up commitment next time. It often takes women a bit longer to develop feelings. Also, in general men should be the gatekeeper of commitment and women should be the gatekeeper of sex. It's too unbalanced a relationship for her to be both. You shouldn't want to commit to someone who will leave at the drop of a hat, no matter how physically attractive she is. I find it takes consistent reciprocation to develop trust. They have to consistently prove it to you they are worthy of your love/trust. The issue is you're confusing trying to lock her down for consistent sex with love - very different things. Women are typically very flaky/emotional - she has to prove she can be more trustworthy/reliable to you.

She actually is the one who keeps hinting/pushing/talking about “us” and future plans and all. But then she catches herself and says she’s not ready fir a relationship right now or like stuff.

Again and again i read the advice to let HER be the pne to bring up this talk.. Continually gauge her level of interest and wait until she brings up exclusivity. This seems like a good example of why. Maybe she wasnt as invested or feeling it as much as you, maybe she is scared of commitment or has aome other issues holding her back.

As others have stated best advice here is to give her the space she asked for, and she might realize how much she misses you and realize she does want exclusivity.

For example. A couple of months ago I was dating someone, who i pursued even though her interest level was low. We continued to date but the whole time I just fwlt she wasnt into it. I should've fell back but instead thought i should turn it up a bit. Which in turn pushed her away because she was just looking for fun.. On the flip side of that a few weeks back i began seeing someone new. And she is already highly interested in me, she has already began floating around the idea of a relationship. I just keep telling her we need to move slow, just enjoy ourselves, and get to really know eachother before commitment.

with girls most of the times (if not all) it's not down to the reason they pinpoint but the action they take

they can say whatever but their action is taking distance = she is not interested
