Volunteer. I went to a NY Cares orientation and it was the most target rich environment I have ever been in. Also, I took a sewing class once and the women all but attacked me. You have to be unconventional, young Skywalker.

Farmers markets are always gold mines during the summer. I was on a cougar binge for a while last year, and all I can say is thank you farmers. If I see any of you fuckers at a Farmers market and you're closing... I better get some carrots from you.

I wouldn't suggest this unless you are above average good looking but hiking on populous trails outside the city (this is key, it's different from bike paths or walking trails inside the city because of the intimacy factor) can be really really bountiful. You can basically squeeze in a secret date and she won't even realize it, It's kind of my naked man to be honest, I've gotten so much sex on the mountain because of this. The reason you need to be good looking is the old hot guys are romantic, ugly guys are stalkers runaround--it's better not to cause a fuss on a mountain, and give her the idea you want to murder her lol.

Girl here, we spend a lot of time in the summer at bars and clubs. But some of the more normal girls like myself like to hang out at parks (bring your cute puppy!), lake/beach/pool's are always fun (bring sunscreen, we usually forget ours),good restaurants (try a place that has a ladies night, not just for the drinks, most places have food specials as well), oh, it's gonna seem weird.. but where do we buy all of these fabulous clothes to go out and do fabulous things in? The mall. Some towns will have a farmer's market/street gathering type thing going on, food/music/fun (you don't have to buy anything, but we're usually there scoping out one thing or another). People have already dropped a number of suggestions here. Basically, day game locations like coffee shops and grocery stores are good locations. Everybody has to eat and a lot of people like to get coffee or similar beverages.

Something no one else mentioned, is dance classes. (Partner dancing.) Learning how to dance with a girl can teach you related skills that will help in seduction.

I don't really want to hit up nightclubs or bars...

Just out of curiosity, why not?

(Note: I don't know many other places where you can go from eye contact to k-close, then to number close, without much talking required.)

Go to a park. Bring a frisbee and throw it at random girls you think that are cute. Entice them to play with you, have them engage and as soon as you think they may be interested, # close and BAM! be on your way. It shows them you know how to have fun, and can be adventurous too.

Walk around and talk to women. All of them. It will make you super comfy with approaching strangers. Make a very obvious general compliment/neg. Flowery dress = woah (smiling) you gotta a lot of flowers going on there, purple dress= thats a rad purple dress you got going on. B.s. like that. You will get interest because youre not interested and just telling them something they think is a compliment but arent quiet sure is a compliment. Youre shooting for thanks i think. Then just eject or continue.

Slack line. I've been meaning to write a full self post on how to do this, but essentially you need to spend a week learning how, and then the rest of your life letting women at the parks hold on to your shoulder as they try it.

Join a wine tasting club. Even if you dont care for wine, its a good learning opportunity to expand your horizons. I joined one in my local area, and it is one of the best social opportunities I have personally experienced. If you live near any medium to large city, im sure these clubs exist near you.

As a guy, my club is filled with women. Average girl to guy ratio is 3 to 1. Sometimes better. Mostly single professional women, mid 30s and up.

Since alcohol (wine) is an integral part of the program, social lubrication abounds.

Meeting women at these events is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Bowling, billards, go to a baseball/sports game, amusement park, there's usually a healthy amount of women who are waiting in line for the next ride.

Joining groups and associations around your college or community could also yield potent results.

Why is every post here about meeting girls at random places? Do you really make it a life goal to go out to some random park or a grocery store just to meet a girl? What happened to mutual friends? Acquaintances? Friends of friends? Someone who works across from you?

If you don't go out to do anything, maybe it's time to start. Don't go venturing off with the sole purpose of finding a girl. You'll just come off as desperate.

You don't need any specific places. If you had a good day game you could simply get the numbers walking a to b. Women are everywhere you go. Also, what happens if you join a knitting course or volunteer and screw up your approach which will happen eventually anyway? You will never see a random girl who was walking around shopping again but you will be in for some very awkward times when you'll be bumping into her and working with her every day or you might even make her quit something she was enjoying.

I also know what you mean but not wanting to hit nightclubs or bars. I hate alcohol and I'm not a big party or club person.

Gym, a job (if u don't have one u might meet someone randomly in ur next job), volunteer work, and in my case, a coffee shop.

I met a cute cashier a few weeks ago and we have a date this Saturday so hopefully it works out.

It's fucking summer. Go for a jog, join a sports league, start a reading club (sounds lame but whatever), take a yoga class in the park, go for dance lessons, find some public gardens - go for a walk.

Local drink joints, local events/festivals. The pool is actually a really good one, dances, even big charity events open to the public. You can find girls anywhere really. Beach and pools/coffee shops would be your best bet!

I always see insanely good guy to girl ratios at the off-leash dog park near my house. With warm weather during the days there's always a lot of cuties around and the presence of dogs makes everyone super friendly and easy to have a conversation with.

My favorite two places to sarge are nowhere near bars or nightclubs; Starbucks and any large bookstore. You can bring something to read and get soc. proof for being intellectual, you can chat about a similar topic or section of literature etc., and girls will not be aware you are necessarily trying to pick them up.

Obviously, if you like video games that's going to limit your interactions but if you're in a medium to large size city there should be plenty of social groups to work with.

What about girls who don't really know how to connect or point out other lesbian/bisexual girls. I've seen so many threads talking about how to pick up girls if you're a guy, but what if some girls just have a hard time picking up other girls? I'm new to atx and I don't really have that much of a chance to get out because I work a full time job. I am about to turn 21 so the option to go to bars and clubs is opening up for me, but I'm not big on that kinda thing. Where could I go to meet new girls?
