For those unaware, Norah Vincent was a author of a book called the self-made man. In it she catalogs her experience of pretending to be a male over the course of 2 years. TL;DR - she didn't enjoy it (duh she's a woman)

Red Pillers like to use this as an example of how ALL males have it more difficult than ALL women. Which is clearly not true.

I assert that her experience was singular and overly exaggerated in order to sell more copies of her book. If her conclusion was, "Meh I guess it's about the same." no one would have bothered to read it.
