Lie about your height. Make yourself a little taller, and don't feel guilty. What is the negative? Absolutely nothing. I know some people will talk about how you should have confidence, but this has nothing to do with lacking confidence. Girls will literally filter you out if you don't reach a certain threshold. You might say "Oh but that's not the kind of girl I want anyway!" I have a big problem with this mentality. It's not all about you. You are literally depriving the chance for women to meet a great guy like yourself. It could even be an amazing woman that just doesn't know what 5'8 is. To most women, on paper, 5'8 sounds too short, but if you're standing tall and being confident, she will literally think you're about 5'10. In fact, I'm not even 5'8 and a 5'7 girl told me that the guy she likes is about my height. So I asked like "5'8 then?" She said "you're taller than 5'8. You're at least 5'10." This is also not some rare occurrence. But I don't even put myself as 5'10 but 5'9. Professional basketball players literally lie about their height all the time. Why? Because it helps them. "Oh but I want to live an honest life. Wahwahhwahh I can't tell a lie." Then you go do that. Personally I think you can be honest after she falls in love with you and there will be no problem at all.

Do I think shorter guys and taller guys can also do this? Of course, but if you're tall, you really don't have to lie. If you're really short, I just recommend not using online dating at all and taking action outside unless you're some high status dude.
