The argument: If true equality should exist between the sex, finantial abortions should be an option for men, because women can opt out of parenthood via abortion, thus, a similar right of opting out of parenthood should exist for men.

The incoherence:

  1. Abortion is not about parenthood, but bodily autonomy

The reason abortion rights exist is due to an understanding that no human should be forced to give away its body to support another human being. This extends to many things outside of abortion

As a critical example and analogy: organ donation.

If the children of a couple is in dire need of an organ donation, and the father is the only one compatible, he is still not forced to donate organs to his child, even if he survives, even if he is responsible for the child's current state.

Now, given this, is it fair for the mother, seeing that the father has an OPTION to not support his child via his organs, resulting in the children's death, ask for the right to not support her child anymore finantially IN ADVANCE?

Meaning that regardless of the father's decision, the mere fact that he has a CHOICE implies that she should have a choice to not partake in her parental duties anymore. Father decided to donate organs? Well he is a single parent now if the mother decides so.

This is what finantial abortion attempts to be, an incoherent ramble that equates bodily autonomy with parental responsabilities.

  1. Equality is desirable, but you have to tell biology first

Men do not have abortion rights because they can't get pregnant, its that easy.

If they could, they would. And, more importantly, if a fetus could survive outside of the womb of a woman, the woman would still be liable for child support.

  1. "A woman does not need to pay child support after an abortion, therefore, abortion implies finantial abortion"

This is one type of argument that makes absolute no sense. Because

A) Fetuses are do not have rights to child support, an aborted fetus is still a fetus.

B)How is it doing an action that prevents you from dealing with child support in the future equal to finantial abortion?

Using birth control prevents you from paying child support, is that a finantial abortion? Not ejaculating inside of a fertile woman prevents you from paying child support, is that a finantial abortion? Doing a vasectomy prevents you from paying child support, is that a finantial abortion? Refusing to have a kid is not the same as refusing to feed a kid.

Just because dead fetuses don't need child support, it doesn't mean that you're opting to not finantially support them, thats honestly a crazy thought that honestly seem to come from people that are actually against abortion but will argue for finantial abortion out of spite. They see the act of abortion as wrong and then think

If you can do wrong, i should also have the same right

Look, if you are against abortion, stick to it, instead of trying to argue for something that you don't even think it's right.
