That might be true, but women have never had an issue approaching me, DMing me (even when we weren’t friends or acquainted on social media), trying to get me alone while I was clearly in a relationship, engaged, and/or married. Even with my wife around.

Fact is, if a man is perceptually desirable enough, none of those things are barriers for entry.

Having a ring signifies that you are getting play time and women desire you, which triggers pre selection in womens mind. And preselection is number 1 attraction trigger on women. There is even a fetish for women to sleep with married men.

My husband gets hit on all the time, even when he's talking to them about me. Especially when he's out with the kids. Something about seeing a dude being a good father and husband, shady ladies want that for themselves. They don't really get the catch 22 of it.

I noticed that a lot of "game" as a man is appearing like you have the ability to get a lot of women. The actual amount of women you've been with is immaterial. That's why confidence is attractive to begin with. Especially when engaging with really attractive women. It subcommunicates that you are used to being around hot women and are tough enough to handle anything.

A ring is just a shortcut to project this phenomenon.

It isn’t the wedding ring she’s after it’s just that since women are attracted to such a smaller group of men that the ones who are married are already in that group, or at minimum very likely to be.

What is the point of this? i think all men sometimes confuse politeness, especially of women who serve clients, with flirt. But there are also women who those men cheat with, so there are women who go after married men, or don't mind them married.
