Playing hard to get? How often is it?

The most insecurity women could get in relationships isn’t getting a man to date them, but getting a man to commit a future with them

You would see it sometimes in relationships that the man is dating the women until they are above 25 years old. And then they decide to break up with the women and finding someone younger to date again. Or the man just want to have a sex with the women and then leave the women because he’s bored

The women who was being left behind would be struggling to find someone better and feel like wasting their youth on that kind of man

Thus one of the solution is playing hard to get. Test the man. Test how serious he is. Ghosting them, blocking them, not replying immediately, saying she has boyfriend when in reality she doesn’t

She does all of that despite she does find the man attractive

But how often this happens? Is there any better strategy than this? What’s the difference between testing the man or not liking the man at all?
