This is just an “I hate women” rant.

I don’t expect anything of random men beyond leaving me alone and not attacking me, or engaging with me politely if the situation is appropriate.

Social contracts like relationships and family dictate other expectations which you are free to decline. You don’t have to hold your girlfriend’s purse or take care of your mother when she gets old. But they have the right to dislike your actions and react accordingly. If you want to participate in society there are expectations. If anything it seems entitled to believe that you don’t have to adhere to the same social contracts that we all do, while you get to reap the benefits of participating in society.

But saying women deserve to be attacked, assaulted, and harmed, and that expecting otherwise is entitlement? Yeah, this is just straight misogyny.

Besides the extreme side of social media where all the hate lives, nobody expects anything form others besides doing the right thing. Being kind and supportive to each other, being a good human.

Remember the old saying "see something say something"? That is universal and applies to us all.

Why are you singling out women here as if they are the only ones? If there are groups of people that are discriminated against then that should be spoken out against as well. Aside from promoting meritocracy discrimination should always be frowned upon.

No one expects you to rescue us. We just expect the men to stop attacking their dates or women who reject them and the men who abuse to stop abusing.

And I would assume yall want that for the men who endanger you?

I know men are at risk more than women for murder

But yall do not date men, we do. You are safest in your homes and usually have a much less risk of rape or harm or death when meeting a woman on the street than us.

We get harmed when rejected. And also verbally assaulted.

I am sorry yall also go through issues, but the majority of people who harm you are other men and you aren't dating them

We are expected to constantly trust men who are strangers, when men themselves don't teust men who are strangers

We are expected to date our predators while you guys don't have to date men/the main predators and perpetrators of violence and rape

I don't need you to do anything, I just would hope our judicial system wouldn't keep releasing repeat offenders to eventually kill or rape again.

And its tiring as a woman hearing gruesome rapes of 12 year olds, just for the perpetrators to walk free

It isn't your fault. But it also isn't our fault as women from pulling away from the violence where we can to self preserve

Perhaps it would be helpful to write up a bullet point list of the things beyond indifference and polite interaction that you perceive society to be expecting from men in regards to women?

I'm open to discussion on this topic, but I don't necessarily think collective amnesia is the issue -- it's just that your claims are pretty generalized and no one is intuiting what exactly you mean. It would be easier to debate specific expectations (probably individually).

I suspect that for each of the expectations you might name, you get mixed opinions from women because some women expect those things and others don't. But again, it's hard to say for sure without more specificity.

The same time that they were telling y’all that, though they were telling women not to expect help or safety or goodness from men.

so that’s why for many women it’s not expected. U can see it in a man vs bear question, genuinely don’t expect you to help me. It’s cool if you do that’s great, but it is not an expectation.

there was a question sometime ago, while if you as a woman would expect a man to give you his seat a if it was going down or something. My answer is no. I genuinely would not expect him to give up his seat for me. I would partially expect him to throw me overboard for my seat.

Lack of sex really reveals a lot of men to be complete and utter repulsive losers. This is why I advocate for women to wait men out, to see if this is what will come up to the surface. Yes and no. Just as the people at the top and leaders of a country change things on a whim and make many people lose or gain on there whims.

Same is true with a collective. If women or men collective treatment is past 30% it becomes main stream. That does not mean everyone feels that way and that does not mean everyone wants the same thing. But the main stream people often are also much more likely to have much more interactions.

This will piss some people off but what ever the example should be made anyway.

Much both side push the blame of the side much more and take away there own actions and part of the blame.

A example of it is like a thief that steals is always wrong right? Most or all people can accept that. But at the same time. In ways people feel they don't have a responsibility of risk mitigation. So cause the thief is always wrong means they should not lock there house or car.

And thats same with men and women.

And there is a massive list of points I could make based in relationships but that would ruffle a lot of feathers. Cause both sides in ways are terrible at self reflection on how to migration of risks and there part of some of the outcomes they get. But its a simple fact. Why many people keep getting the same outcomes over and over. Cause they don't learn from it cause they keep putting the blame on outside forces do they learn nothing so the same results keep happening. Thats the case with both men and women.

And as selfishness gets more common in relationships so do morals and values fall. And thats gets gets mostly pulled by the 30% of each side that pushes it. Why bad shallow people used to be punished or exiled from society. Cause it will in ways slowly destroy the family unit.

What definitely don't mean most or even all people are like that just seems that way cause shallow people go and have many many times more short relationships and hurt a lot more people the same way scammers break trust in people so do those shallow people in relationships.

The more those people hurt people the more people want to put relationships in less and less high regards.
