I used to do it a lot. It always seemed like a good idea at the time and I always regretted it afterward. It’s very similar to a night out clubbing in my opinion.

It’s interesting. I think the biggest benefit from porn cessation is that you deprive your brain from a non-beneficial source of dopamine and so you’re forced to search elsewhere for it. However I feel like meaningless sex is around the same ballpark in terms of non-beneficial sources of dopamine.

When I first quit porn I was horny a lot - so much so that I’d bring women home that were interested in me just to scratch the itch. It always seemed like a fantastic idea but after it was over I really had to force myself to treat them with decency because all I really wanted was to get them out of my house. The feeling was pretty toe-to-toe with the negative feeling you get after masturbating to porn.

I've done it and I still do it now. Literally every woman I've "strung along" was sleeping with multiple people besides myself, and it was extremely unlikely that a relationship would end that. I'm in college so very few women seriously desire a relationship, it seems to be more of trying to get me to be exclusive to them. I've never regretted having sex with them, though I would refrain from hurting a girl who genuinely wants a relationship to grow with someone. I tend to be amoral but there are no prizes for being nice to people when you die. Perhaps I'll adopt a different mindset after I graduate.

I guess I am a feminist then" and just playing dumb until I could change the subject, even tho I am very much not a feminist aside from the equality under the law for individuals regardless of gender definition, does this count? Why should a man feel bad for doing this? It's a valid sexual strategy. It is no different than a woman stringing along guys she has no intention of sleeping with for attention, validation, free rides, money, emotional tampons etc.

It's the male version of beta orbiters. These women can't get his commitment, but they want it so THEY stay around and allow him to sleep with them. The onus is on the women to stop seeing the guy. Same as it would be with male betas orbiting a girl who they want sex with. It's on them to stop giving her their attention, money, shoulder to cry on etc.

I did this once and it felt empty and exploitive so I didn't do it again. At the time, I was an ordinary, dewy eyed boy of 37 years like many of the young men who stumble into the pillosphere. Caught between youthful idealism, and the urges of a perenially erect penis.

I have before. It didn’t feel great. I tried to mitigate it by only doing it to shitty people (one was like... a white supremist) but it didn’t really work. I was still letting shitty people into my life, and receiving texts and social interactions from shitty people, while also making myself shittier in the process. Why should I feel bad, when women do the exact same thing to orbiters. If I actually care about the woman then no I wouldn't do something like that. If she is just good sex then I would keep doing it cause there is a good chance there is 3-4 orbiters getting strung along just like she is.

I do this. Used to feel more guilt. Still some guilt, but not much for a couple of reasons.

It's never purley sexual. There's always some emotional attachment, but it fades way faster for me than for the woman (biology). It's easy to absolve myself of guilt if I'm just going along with what feels right.
I feel vindicated by the current political climate. There's a growing war between the sexes right now. Men aren't entitled to sex, women aren't entitled to relationships, etc.

For me, it was always a whole lot grayer than that. I wasn't lying, but I was holding back, because I thought I had to. Dealing with women required it.

And on her side, there was always some understanding as well of the game of it, and while she wasn't blatantly thinking, "I'm totally going to use his liking me for attention and to get things from him," there was some level of okayness with the benefits of the situation.

...and I think that's how most people are. We're all human, look really deep down, there's a lot of base motivations there.
