Oh I wish I could invite everyone over. You guys come to Utah we can party all weekend at my place! I'd get everyone drunk and then try to craftily encourage the guys to hit on and dance with the girls, and maybe try to do other much crazier things but oh my gosh! In fact I have met a bunch of people from various internet forums in my real life several times. Back when the internet was new and the fine folks hadn't yet realized they could just invent a fake personality to never back up this was pretty normal. A lot of the ppl who are extremely confident online would not be so irl. I had some meetups with ppl from another online community and the big swinging dick e-personas who dominate online were shy IRL whereas the ppl who post 1-2 liners turn out to be confident hotties (albeit relatively dumb) and mog everyone

The people i would have the most interest in meeting (other than pussy equipped humanoids willing to be my second wife) are people like StAliaHarkonnen from the old incels subreddit. Ie, people who come across as having an actually unique perspective, evince orginality of thought, and inspire actual thought in others. Such people are rare and it makes me curious what they are like irl and if they actually stand for their expressed principles irl.

It would be a great opportunity to see who we're actually talking to on here, and also meet the world's only living fossil, Atlas. Meetups in other subs happen all the time, but they're mostly local subs for a city or subs that are big enough to pull people together in several locations.

If meetups are prohibitive, it would be cool if there were a podcast put together via audio call or something. Found a couple episodes on Youtube from a few years back but it looks like it never really got started.

I’ve met up with Twitter and Tumblr and Instagram ppl IRL. Though it’s slightly different. Those people were never truly anonymous to begin with so there was a baseline comfort and insight into how and who they are outside of the internet.

I know for a fact multiple other people on here are from my city, but I also have no desire to meet people I've talked with online, unless I were to establish some sort of friendship with them prior (e.g. there's a bunch of dudes in my fantasy basketball leagues that I'm in that I'd grab a drink with, or some discord friends that I game with sometimes). I'm not exactly looking for more social interaction. People are bleh. Cats rule.
