Do we have a fundamental misunderstanding of RP and TRP because we are 'out of the game' so to speak?

Since we're not competing against Chad on the Tinders or the Bumble or trying to slide into pretty girl's DMs or trying to get their Snapchat or whatever are we guilty of survivorship bias? Are we projecting our successful relationship experiences onto All Women and denying the insights of RP because we found our Unicorns?

Or are we simply 'naturally' RP and had success with women because a)we were attractive enough and b) applied RP principles instinctively? Are we gaming our own wives without even knowing it?

Or did we actually succeed with strategies and techniques that are directly opposed to or contraindicated by RP. If so, what were they?
