The classy way around this is to get up to go to the bathroom after the main course (but before the bill), then on the way pull your server aside and ask for separate bills.

I've found in every date I've gone on, it makes no difference if you pay or not. They like you or they don't. In fact, the Tinder dates where I can tell there's zero connection are the ones where the women are the least likely to even offer to pay. This is why I never take a new girl out for dinner. Just beer or coffee. And I almost always split if they offer.
Think about this way: Imagine a book table where all the books are free. People are just going to grab a bunch of books and probably not read most of them, because it cost them nothing. They didn't have to invest. But if each book cost $10, they would look them over and pick out a good one or two, because they don't want to waste their money. It's no different with dating.

I don't get dinner dates with someone you don't even know. Food just makes you sluggish and it's fattening. It's harder to get a decent buzz with a full stomach. Alcohol is always more expensive in restaurants compared to bars. Asking a girl out to dinner just seems so stuffy and uptight. Dinner is boring, the thought of just sitting across from another person face to face trying to act proper royally blows. When I pay for alcohol I am paying for a good time, when I pay for dinner i'm just feeding your ass. Then there are these kinda hidden tests that take place when you do the dinner thing. Did you pick a good spot? Is it too cheap or too expensive? Are you going to pay? Is she going to offer? Is she ordering expensive dishes? Am I being used? I think i'm feeling my penis recede into my body just thinking about this crap, what a headache. Taking a person out for drinks for example, forces a different kind of interaction where you can see what a person is really about. You can see them make choices, placed in situations. At a restaurant the environment is too controlled. I save dinner dates for a person I am already accustomed to.
Cut out dinner dates at restaurants altogether. Just learn to cook a few dishes and you will have amazing dates from then on.

This is too true. Since I've taken up TRP I've never once bought a girl a drink at the bar.
However I have a semi different file for dates. I will always say let's head out somewhere and see how they react to the bill, you'd be surprised but 90% of the time she offers to pay the bill or at least split it. If you have high enough SMV she will feel like she doesn't deserve you and will want to pay.
If she does I will go along with it and often offer to buy her a drink at the next place. As long as she doesn't feel entitled to the date and free food / drinks I don't mind spending 5$ on a girl. However never buy a drink for a bar leech.
I now use a simple rule. I ask myself if this chick were a dude would I buy him a beer? In the past I often paid for strangers drinks after an amazing conversation with them, or they just turned out to be an all around awesome guy/girl who's really fun to talk to.

You're way off. There are two basic reasons why women are doing this:
1) Lots of women don't have a ton of money. Sure, they have enough to pay the rent, but they don't view it the way you are implying. Sure, they can afford a cheap bottle of wine but that's five bucks less money they could have to go towards clothes or drinks later on. Why spend five when you can get it for free?
2) This satisfies their desire for validation in addition to point 1. She got free drinks and an evening of men stroking her ego. That sounds like more fun than drinking on your own dime, alone, doesn't it?
You need to think a bit more about what it's like to be an HB8 or higher. These women get everything for free just for showing up when it comes to social engagements. Forget the fact that they rarely buy drinks or drugs at a bar, they often get just free shit all the time in the form of rent money or gifts or shit. Life is very different for an HB8 or higher girl. The girl I'm sort of seeing, plate I guess, at the moment would probably be homeless if she wasn't a knockout latina. She's fun and all that, but she's absolutely stunned when it comes to basic things because dudes have just been doing it for her. I had her over Saturday and cooked a basic meal because I was watching the basketball. Just a steak (not even a good cut really) with asparagus and some avocado I needed to get rid of and she was just blown away by how good of a cook I was. I mean, this was like 10-15 minutes in total. You should think about this more, it becomes very apparent why women go to bars in the way described by OP when you understand this.

This is so stupidly common that once you learn how to spot it you'll see it everywhere you go.

I don't really like online dating because it takes the sense of achievement out of it for me. However I need something to do while taking shits and tinder is perfect. So what I like to do is when I match with a girl on tinder, I'll invite her to meet up with me at a restaurant. I'll tease her about bringing money cuz I'm not a cheap date. Then I order whatever I want, and eat most of it. Flirt with her the whole time, maintain eye contact, and just be overall charming.
Then when I'm done with all the food and drinks I want, I pretend to get a phone call. I excuse myself to take the call, then I leave and she gets to pay for my food.

The people, often times women would offer me free drinks and rounds on the house, bartenders too. I felt a little guilty afterwards but, hey... I was young and broke:)

You are missing the point. A $200 dinner at a nice restaurant probably costs like $20 for a place to make. People pay for the experience, if you own the place you don't need to pay that cost. If you own any high end place the cost of using said place for yourself is negligible.
