I made my own solar power battery bank and generator for when we have power outages.

I can deadlift 305 lbs, bench 185 lbs, and squat 245 lbs.

I work with dangerous chemicals, high voltages, power tools, and weapons for a living.

Still 100% female. And nope, I don't neglect my health or appearance, and I still have plenty of hobbies.

Women can do anything men can do without half the attitude or ego, and while maintaining households, families, and hobbies on the side. Never have I ever met a man who was as well-rounded as me, or some of the HVW I know. Ugh.

I think I did just fine as an aircraft mechanic. My specific subsystem even made it to Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel. Didn't seem to need a penis to do it at all.

I get what he's saying. We live in a society and we're dependent upon people to do their jobs to keep society running as well as our everyday lives running smoothly.

But like he's co-opting the accomplishments and skills of other people (and conveniently mentioning male dominated fields), presumably to defend the position that women need romantic relationships.

It's conflating the word "need" to his convenience and to salvage ego - "she needs men for XYZ, so some woman somewhere definitely needs me because of something else."

Uh, in traditional hunter-gatherer society, women often times have the same responsibilities as men.

The men = breadwinner (strong, leader)/women = homemaker (weak, follower) only came after the agricultural society developed. And it really stepped down on women, where men could become rich and take many wives but women have to demure and "pure".

I've never known a professional firefighter who had trouble finding women attracted to him. In fact, sometimes women show up to small fires just to check out the firefighters taking their shirts off to cool down after. The firefighters are doing fine. Haven't known any power line technicians but I have known a tree feller and it is a similarly dangerous job... he seemed to do OK for himself on the romantic front, never lacking.

I suspect that advantaging all men because of those men would not be an advantage to those men at all. Maybe we should raise the pay rates for dangerous jobs?

I'm under 130 lbs, and I can lift 100 lbs. I can carry my 200-lb, much taller, older sister on my back. I have built and programmed all kinds of robots in my free time. I design machines worth tens of thousands of dollars every day at work outputting 5000+ pounds of force at 2000 degrees F. I think I can manage plugging some wires back in. My daily workout is more hardcore than 90% of these scrotes "careers" in nutrition transportation organization (a.k.a bagging groceries at Walmart.)

I work at a god-damned smelter, and I'm an engineer NOW (meaning I have three sets of safety equipment rather than one), but I've had a few of those "dangerous" jobs.

Guess what? Most of the dangers of those jobs and my current one are people not following safety procedures. I've seen guys break ribs because they were too lazy to take the long route, I've seen acids burns on guys who didn't bother to wear overalls, I've seen a guy's actual chest hair catch on fire because he couldn't be bothered to close his jacket. That doesn't even account for guys who put other people in danger because they can't be bothered. Women ACTUALLY IMPLEMENT safety procedures, and our workplace injury statistics look insane because of it.
