If they share a home, many people like to be greeted when arriving. Some people like to go to a quiet area and reflect.

Ritualized affection is okay for some personality types. And is only acceptable if this affection is “tailored” by other types.

For example, I hate ritualistic kisses. It feels strange for someone to add that connection on the end of a mindless behavioral “to do list”.
