Coming from someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in left-leaning spaces online and in real life, men are men no matter what they claim to believe, about things concerning women or otherwise. Plenty of guys would tweet nice guy bullshit in between their woke posts or would use activism as an excuse to get a girl alone or initiate a DM with her and turn it sexual as quickly as he could, boy do I have some stories to tell.

It's simple: they're misogynists. They support the pro-sex work agenda because they know it benefits them. They do not support 'girlboss' culture because they know that women breaking glass ceilings and rising in the economy threatens their male privilege. They want to be the ones (the only ones) who get to benefit off of capitalism. They also play to our female socialisation of always being caring, nice, considerate, etc. They think that shaming us for taking corporate jobs or whatever will stop us from gaining financial standing. But wtf do they expect us to do? We live in a capitalist society, all of us contribute to capitalism whether we like it or not. They want us to keep doing pink-collar jobs that don't threaten their dominance, and whining that we're contributing to capitalism by doing exactly what they're doing is their way of trying to prevent us from threatening the societal structure that rich white males benefit so much from at the expense of everyone else.

Narcissists are compulsive liars. One of the main tactics they use when they lovebomb you is called mirroring. They will try to relate to you by copying aspects of your personality. So if you're a leftist, they'll say they're a leftist too. Maybe they mean it, even. That doesn't mean anything unless they're actually acting like an ally. My ex was a leftist yet was pro prostitution and regularly used porn. He saw no problem with neither. And he was abusive, despite claiming to be someone who cared for social justice and who defended the weak. He wanted me to stay at home or work a part time job at most.

So yeah, just because they're against shooting black people or in favour of increasing the minimum wage doesn't mean that they're going to be decent human beings. That is actually rooted to the entitlement they learned while growing up and how their family dynamics were.

I really think that women endorsing to capitalism is not really liberating for us, BUT:

In order to make progress in our individual lives and have the conditions to oppose our oppression we need financial stability.
The critique of "girlboss" culture and how it utilizes class oppression is up to us, the women. Leftist men should shut up, nod in agreement and spread our word without taking any credit, if they remotely want to help us as "allies". Anything else is just ego stroking for them and outright misogyny.

Actually, in my circle some of the worst men were super left wing vegan types that absolutely despised women. I knew one anarcho-fuccboi in particular that was horribly abusive about anything feminine, especially cosmetics. Real feminists don’t paint their face, real vegans don’t use anything that was even based on stuff that was tested in animals, real environmentalists get their tubes tied at 18 (notice how there was no such demand on male activists) etc, etc.

In the case of left wing dudes, they are the type you see openly talking about watching porn, and how girls watching porn, especially with their partners "is awesome and cool" and if you don't do that you must be a insecure, (self-hating) misogynstic, kink shamer, whatever.

Because they're not actually left. They just adopted the leftist aesthetic because it gets them internet points and/or they only support leftist ideas that benefit them. It's the same as when a dude says he's a feminist but gets turned down and calls her a bitch. Though there are many instances of the #girlboss being used as a puppet by bad entities, every single Disney live action movie or the recent cringe CIA ad, many men whine about women being in higher up positions because their lives suck and are too lazy to further themselves so they blame the boogeyman of "the system" (or, maybe, they just hate women iunno). Sure, the system has it's flaws but that's what every single person, including women, on this planet lives under, so suck it up and do something rather than complaining on twitter and reddit all day. There's nothing wrong with female role models that'll push young women into positions of power and become more independent. Does anyone seriously think a multi billion dollar company is going to put an unqualified woman on the top and risk their whole company just to look "woke???"

So tldr; the lefty facade gets men into women's pants and they'll drop it once they're in and their true shit stain colors start showing. At least with social media, the internet lefty's primary place of residence, it's not hard for them to expose themselves one way or another and women can figure them out before it's too late.

This is exactly why I don’t talk about my political views early on in the vetting process. These men always tell on themselves. And like other ladies have mentioned on here, narcissists will mirror you or even falsify their traditionalist stance to try and lure you into a situationship with them.

These men may appear “HV” at first, pulling out all the stops (think paying on dates, putting on the traditional provider role), then slowly push some libfem ideologies onto you like polyamory etc. You’ll have the rug pulled out from under you so quickly, be extremely careful of men like this. They’re the most dangerous, and target HVW knowing that their “cool boy personality” won’t work on us otherwise.

These men are easy to spot. If they’re too smooth and calculating, it’s because they’ve been through the motions many many times with other women and have learned the game and what works to hook HVW. You will never be the only woman in the picture, that’s why it’s crucial to date multiple men until PROOF that exclusivity is established after a long vetting process.

I can spot these guys within the first few dates, and they get benched on the scrotation for whatever benefits they offer (dining out, entertainment etc.) I never date these men exclusively.

Just as many left-leaning scrotes as there are right-leaning. I live in a super lefty city on the east coast (US) and can’t count the amount of times seemingly progressive men will say/do something misogynistic. For some reason they can see how things like class-based oppression and racism are bad, but they leave women out of the equation. Also, by and large, women (especially WOC) are at the forefront doing the work in activist circles. Men will still try to take the credit though. Don’t get me started on the “sex work IS work” bros and manic TRA’s. They’re all angry at women.

Unfortunately if a man wasn’t raised by his family to respect women, he’ll have little defense against toxic masculinity as an adult.

Are the leftists okay? It really doesn’t make much sense, they’re concerned about global warming, but eat meat. They’re concerned about social justice but defer to the most oppressed person in the room instead of the most educated. They’re concerned about inclusivity, unless you’re part of the out-group at which point it’s totally fine to bully and abuse you.

The whole anti-capitalism thing has become cool. Most people can barely define capitalism and if you ask someone specifically what they want changed, most can’t answer you.

But it’s especially telling that the anti-capitalist crowd wants to commodify women’s bodies for their personal consumption and they get angry if you question it.

Most political ideologies have become a cult of personality instead of thoughtful participation in your country’s governance.
