Just want to relay a recent success. LVM liar tried love bombing me to get me attached. It didn't work.

We exchanged numbers. For 5 days straight he texted me good morning and constantly texted me throughout the day. He asked dozens of deeply personal questions within the first 24 hours, clearly trying to trauma bond. Then suddenly on days 6 and 7, silence.... so I waited. Then he sent me a text trying to see if he had me hooked, saying "oh did you miss me?"

When I revealed innocuous info about myself he would always say "oh me too." I said I like knitting. He claimed that he, too, knits (yeah fucking right). I say I like chess, he says that he, too, plays chess. He even claimed we had the same astrological sign. I mentioned an interest in photography, guess who also loves photography? He was obviously lying about all that as part of the love bombing.

The last straw... I mentioned a movie I was interested in seeing. He said, "Oh are you asking me out to the movies?" I said no, that I was hinting that he could ask me to the movies. He declined. So I blocked and deleted.

Thanks, FDS! With all the resources available to me here I saw through his bullshit and I'm safe and well. I have a fine dining date lined up with a guy for next weekend--and he asked me out on the date that he is taking several days to plan out. 😊
