I play the long game. If I see someone who desperately needs FDS, I check in with them first, sometimes I'll use an alternate account not associated with it. I like to ask them how they're doing, get more info on their situations, and make light comments in line with FDS. After a couple messages back and forth, I then like to introduce FDS and tell them that I thought it was extreme at first and that to this day I still don't agree with everything (which is true).

Many of them seemed much more receptive to it and I've even checked up on some a few weeks later, many of them have made a post or two and commented a bit. I loved seeing them get onto the right path 🥺

If anybody has the time to do this, I would totally recommend it! I love being able to help other women improve their situations and mindsets.

Take a look at the gender flairs on the mod list. The gender ratio is way skewed towards men and because of that, the sub heavily lifts up male voices and promotes women accepting less than stellar treatment. It's done overtly/slyly though so that they can't get called out on it. I had no idea it was there under the surface until I started reading here. Now I see it clearly. There are so many sex addicts and old predators there mad they can't date 22 year olds.

I mean, our sub has stated time and time again that we do not promote or accept violence. The most "hateful" thing about the sub is calling men scrotes or low value which is like saying calling an incel an incel is hate speech. They're terms that apply to a portion of the male population. Look at our sub posting vision boards of our dream lives, talk about why we like being single, and messages we get where people try to play us and yet Dating Over 30 says we're hateful/on par with the male ones. Puh-lease. Women living their best lives and opting out of relationships with those types of men is what they find hateful, let's not kid ourselves.

You should always reach out in private and do your best to not expose yourself. I have a separate account just for FDS and another one for everything else exactly for that reason. People misjudge FDS and automatically crucify us for being a part of this sub. Not having anything in your history about FDS and being able to reach out to users privately protects YOU.

You can still follow a subreddit and message people even if they ban you.

Fuck that subreddit, if they're gonna be giving bad advice to women they deserve to have their female subscribers redirected here.

I wonder why FDS is seen as such a threat? Like I know men are seeing the dating pool shrink before their eyes, but first it was breakingmoms, now datingoverthirty....I wonder what's so terrifying about women having high standards 🤔....it's almost like the world is scared of women realising their power and independence. I love FDS so much. Even if it gets banned on reddit, there's the FDS website. What a shame for all the incel lurkers who can't do anything about it. Once a woman wakes up from the patriarchal conditioning, there's no going back to sleep.

That sub is such a dumpster fire. I didn’t date much in my 20s so when I wanted to dip a toe in, I used to lurk there to get the lay of the land to so speak. It’s a bunch of late thirties guys arduously defending their right to date girls fifteen years younger than themselves and women being bullied into sleeping with someone by the third date “so the men know they’re interested”. So basically it’s a perfect representation of OLD these days. Then I found my way here 😌

Good on you. I have recommended FDS via PM before. It is up to them if they follow through. I am disappointed you would be banned for trying to give others a different perspective.

We all know that women don't get support in male dominated spaces. They push their agenda and ignore the agency of women at times.

Although it seems men spread the word on our behalf by hating FDS. I found it through men hating on FDS in a post. Any woman who has spent time on Reddit will notice that men really don't like women. So immediately I knew FDS is worth checking out.

I found FDS because a woman made a brilliant comment on datingoverthirty, I looked at her comment history and found FDS back in maybe February(?). My entire world shifted! I read the handbook immediately and began changing my entire attitude about dating immediately! So thank you!

I learned about FDS when I made a passive comment questioning why OP would ask women on dates when he was poor. He had been going on a rant about he had gone into debt taking women out on dates because women expect it.

I do the same, haven’t been banned for it from anywhere, but I’m banned from a lot of the dating and so called women’s subs for being a GC participant before it was banned.

I like this subreddit, I truly do. But some women have their own ideals, and desires in a partner/dating, and life in general that does not align with FDS. While I think every woman can benefit from this subreddit every woman isn't looking for what we are. I don't think it warrants a ban, however I don't think these women are wrong for desiring to live their life by their own terms. As long as they are happy, living a fulfilling life, etc I see no issue.
